Two Apps?
I downloaded the Good Sam camping app and got a message to download a new version. That took me here to an entirely different app. Who creates a second app instead of upgrading the first one?
Come on Good Sam. It should be easier to sign up for and integrate all your services in one place and then access those services on a seamless app. This isn’t 1980 anymore.
Why would I have to manually enter numbers for insurance and roadside assistance on my Good Sam account? Your website and app should be doing that automatically.Show lessCastlewench
Worthless
Glad I didn’t pay for it. I downloaded to have access to trip planner in route but it only takes me to RV rentals ????? Did not explore much more of it since they can’t get that right. Judging from the ratings over the past several months my guess is they are not fixing it.Ken Ratliff
But why?
The good people have taken a marginally useful app and successfully turned it into a whacky RV rental app. All options on the bottom menu bar seem to end up at the rental site. Trip planning takes on to the rental status page. Waste of effort.TDGrimm
My garage not working
So far not a bad app, first time ever downloading a good Sam app, but when I add a picture of my RV it’s shows up upside down. I even flipped the picture before adding it, and it still shows up upside down. Maybe an omen for the rest of the app?Skippy1916
Go back to the old app
I have used Good Sam and the app for years to plan trips and to look for campgrounds. This new app is terrible. It doesn’t show anything except wanting you to rent an RV. It appears to be more about selling you things. What a step backwards.WBHealthy
Awful
This is one of the worst apps I’ve used. You enter a large town to search and it will say 0 campgrounds. Then you do a search online and they come up, with several GS campground. Happened over half the time as I was planning a trip. UselessSewhappy75
Installed, couldn’t get logged in, uninstalled Done
Installed the app as recommended by the CW website. Couldn’t log on in the app. Uninstalled the app, restarted the iPhone, changed password still couldn’t get logged in. Uninstalled the app. I’m done. Done with CW too. Not worth the aggravation.saltwaterlife
Can’t use trip planner
Can’t plan a trip, it goes to a RV rentals screen. Liked the old app, not impressed with this new app. It has been out long enough to listen to feedback and make it a usable product, but sadly no!Daconiam
Of little use!
I signed up for Roadside Assistance and the only thing this app does is to provide my membership number and expiration date. If I need service I have to call the number on my printed card. This app is nothing more than a glorified sales tool.RV5329
Pretty useless
It’s either too sophisticated for me to figure out or it’s so poorly put together that it offers nothing useful. The previous app was easier to use.mns_eagle
