  • Disappointing

    Recently switched over from Adobe XD because of their lack of focus on the software and am perplexed why this app doesn’t actually do what it says. Was really excited to use Sketch but not being able to mirror a design directly on the app via wifi or USB-C is such a missed opportunity. The fact that Adobe does this without forcing the cloud functionality shows how bad of a decision to not include this is.

    Please allow us to mirror local documents in real time without relying on your cloud to make changes that sometimes take minutes. It would genuinely make a world of difference.

  • Feedback

    Very Slow, Bugs here and there, Adding A new art board on OSX requires to restart the app. Artboard Sync mode with OSX selection has no way to use as prototype for selected screen, instead you have to go out and look for the same screen to start a prototype.

    The app is full of issues. Sketch team you have to do much better if you want to survive.

  • Nice design update but crashes on prototypes

    I haven’t been able to run a single prototype as it crashes 100% of the time. This is really my only use for the mobile app.

    Hello there! That doesn’t sound good at all, and I apologize for that. We are here to help but, unfortunately, many factors may be affecting the App, and it’s difficult to troubleshoot it via this comment, so if you want, we can keep in touch through the productsupport@sketch.com email and look for the source of these crashes together.   • Mirror App was perfect, this is not.

    Do not force us to sign in, use workspaces or any other dark UX patterns – that in reality exist to drive subscriptions. I need to very quickly view the active artboard on my mobile device. Not this bloatware - fix the mirror app so we can quickly design and view pages on mobile devices. You are losing to Figma and these hostile tactics are certainly not helping your cause.

The iOS App has been redesigned this way, allowing users to mirror the designs that live in the Workspace.Nonetheless, I get your point: playing your prototypes or showing your documents directly from the Sketch App would be nice.   • Decent, but no export

    Pretty much the only feature I needed was to export a design to png on my phone; and sadly that doesn’t exist.

    Hey there 👋 You won’t be able to access or create local files on the iPhone app, but you can view files and real-time activity once you connect to your Workspace.
  • Pointless

    The star reviews here speak volumes. Does your team not do user research and actually find out what Sketch users want? I use Sketch because I like saving files locally that’s the whole point of sticking by you. I don’t need or want the cloud service, so why have you just severed ties with mirroring local documents completely? I’d rather the crappy old app if it lets me test designs locally. This update is thoughtless. Sorry.

    Hello there! I’m very sorry for the inconvenience this may be causing... The new iOS App was redesigned this way, allowing users to mirror the designs that live in the Workspace. But you are right; playing prototypes or showing your documents directly from the Sketch App would be nice (perhaps the same way as before, via WiFi or cable).   • Not ideal

    Add the ability to clear the cache. If I update the project, it starts re-downloading and the application is already running 5 GB.

  • Horrible UX

    Literally downloading an entire sketch file locally of 1GB every single time I need to view it. Extremely annoying and misleading that they call it Sketch Cloud. It needs to be immediately accessible like Figma etc. love the max app but the iPhone app is unusable.

    Hello there! 👋 I’m sorry you are experiencing this. The Sketch App should be using a cached version for that and just downloading the new parts of it (if existing). There’s a possibility that the iOS is deciding to get rid of a big cached file from your system.   • It’s a great tool but mirror doesn’t work for me

    I keep using the old mirror app because the “mirror” icon just doesn’t show in my app ever… same Wi-Fi, Bluetooth on, handoff on… pls fix!
