  • What happened

Just updated and when I bring the blind up or down I can’t stop it halfway through? The stop button has gone… can this fault be fixed please?
  • ‘Scenes’ lost on app update

Just was prompted to update the app to the latest version having just spent this afternoon setting up a new pair of blinds…the programming I set up has disappeared. Why is this not saved against the account details?!
  • Works ok - could be better

Personally I’ve not had any issues with the app and it works as advertised on the 3 blinds I have. My gripe and the reason for 1 star deduction is the same as many… I want the blinds to sync with my VELUX that open and close on sunrise and sunset - fix that and perfect !
  • Not much use

Open, close and battery level, that’s about it. Would be nice if you could set programs/timed operations
  • Seems to work ok but…

Commands are sent to the blinds (I only have two) in good time and I’ve not noticed any issues. But the apps UI is confusing and poorly laid out to say the least and the lack of options to organise the rooms and the scenes within could I suspect be more frustrating if you have several of both. Couple of issues I have noticed are:
    1. The app complains it hasn’t had contact with the blinds for a while and to check battery’s but that message popped up 2 mins after I asked the app to run a scene, which it did successfully
    2. It appears that the developers update the version number in the app/database before the release to the App Store is live. I couldn’t use the app for 10 mins as it was stuck in a loop, open app - update alert appears (no way to clear it) press update which goes to the App Store which says no update available, close the App Store and the app… open app again, same loop. Come on guys this is basic stuff (I’m a software developer)

  • Clunky app that doesn’t scale to the screen on the iPad

This app will not run invisibly from Siri Shortcuts, you have to confirm every time you want it to run, so it doesn’t work as an automation. You can’t properly integrate it into Siri or,HomeKit, it doesn’t talk to Alexa or Google Home. It’s the dumbest smart app or device I’ve seen in years. As others move to Thread and Matter to get around this issue of interoperability, these developers are going backwards. Also the password reset is painful - it basically would not accept any decent length and complexity of passwords from my auto password manager, 1Password. So beware your data is probably very exposed. Set to weak passwords and no 2FA.

On the whole feels like an app and a smart blind from 10 years ago. Doesn’t integrate with HomeKit or Alexa or Google at all. Weak.
