Easy to use - very fun - helpful
This app lets me personalize the information very easily, like adding my plant photos, naming the plants, adding rooms and naming them, as well as adjusting the room and plant information so it best matches the conditions in my home. Its fun as well as helpful because the reminders to mist, water, rotate plants are very clear and easy to follow. It has all sorts of care info on the plants.
4 stars because: Only suggestion, sometimes plant-specific care tips get cut off on the plant info page, and when i click to read more it takes me to a general page about watering plants instead of expanding on the watering top for the specific plant I was reading about.

The plants time is rong
Wen ever you have to water it The app says well for my African violet it says like a week or something but I actually have to water it like every 2 days or something
And you have to pay to get better advice from experts and so on

Please add Southern Hemisphere
Hi there. I am based in the Southern Hemisphere and we are in winter. I have my location set as Christchurch NZ but the care plan is saying Northern Hemisphere Summer. Please fix the location system. I would give 5 stars if this was fixed.
Identify plants is what I want not how healthy they are

No useful info
It is not user friendly. The option to add a plant doesnβt work instinctively. After many attempts, I finally found a way to do it but, by that time, I forgot how I got there. I am sorry to say, I found it frustrating.
Diagnosis was the same for every plant I added. βYellowing leaves is a natural life cycle of an aging plantβ. Another app I tried , Blossom, diagnosed the plants with either root rot, over watering or lack of nutrients. Which nutrients was never disclosed.
The plants were impatients & elephant ears.
I canceled my free week subscription in less than 24 hours.

Location is a problem
Loving this app. My plants are loving it too. Just wish I could figure out how to correct my location. I am in the Southern Hemisphere where it is currently winter, however the app says I am in the northern hemisphere in summer. Just worried the care advice based on the wrong season will not be good for my plants. π€

What Iβve always needed
I am LOVING this app! I love my plants but care has always been a bit hit and miss. Now I feel confident. Thanks so much. My favourite is the ability to take a photo to find out what it is - especially good for weed identification. I wish I could change the temperature to Celsius though (Australia), and add in the actual temperature. We live in a cool mountain zone and the temp is wrong on the app.

Why I recommend Plant Parent
I had lots of plants. When I got Plant Parent, I diagnosed then and most of them were sick. If I had not gotten the app, I would not have known they were sick. The app is easy to use and super helpful for gardening.
Boosts Enjoyment
I love this app!! It has added to the enjoyment of plant parenting. Iβve been able to read more about my plants and enjoy the care a reminders. Iβve also found the diagnosis tools to be very useful.
