Good app, greedy devs!
Love the app but hate the fact the greedy devs turned it into a subscription based app and piss off all the people who paid for it already. Then to top it all they put a notification in the app I PAID for saying to update to this rip off!
Best RSS reader on iOS, almost the best on macOS
ReadKit is easily my favourite RSS reader on iOS. I was initially excited to see macOS was updated and brought in line with the iOS codebase to help it get & keep feature parity, but in doing so it now feels like an iOS port instead a native mac app.
It's a minor complaint, but it's a shame as the previous version was a great example of native mac software designed to fit the conventions of macOS. Despite that though, it's still one of the best feed readers on macOS.

Beautiful and powerful
Iโve used this app for nine years and when this newest version came out I tried it out, loved it, and immediately paid for the one-time lifetime Premium unlock.
Constantly Crashes
I am integrating three services, inoreader, pinboard, and instapaper, but the app constantly crashes. Seems to happen after I added my pinboard account
Amazing app
Easy to use, fast, feature filled. Love it. The only thing what keeps it from being a 5 stars is the lack of iCloud sync for โlocal feedsโ or a new kind of feed that syncs thru iCloud.
Fast app, responsive developer
Trying out ReadKit again with its 3.0 release. Love that one subscription covers both iOS and Mac. The iPhone app looks great and loads fast. And kudos to the developer, who responded quickly and helpfully when my third-party feed service had some technical glitches.
Almost perfect
This app is really great. I wish it synced positions of articles for read it later services.
Nice and clean, great first start, needs some features
Itโs not often I write reviews, but Iโve been playing with this on the Mac and iPhone, and itโs worked great, cudos for supporting miniflux and making the login process super simple.
However (taking into account this is a new app!) some extra features would be great for me, and potentially others.
- Notifications about new articles, not just badges.
- Widgets.
- Raindrop as a read later service.
Otherwise, great app if your needs are simple, just needs a few extra features and I may ditch my current rss for this.

Great update and still works well with Feedly
I've been using ReadKit for years to access my Feedly account. This new, Apple Silicon-optmized version is snappier and slicker. I'm definitely a fan. And the app does everything I need without my having to pay for the Premium features.
My only quibble is that I wish there were a button for marking all items as read. There is a menu item, but I wish there were a button too.
