Perfect for scrobbling music quick
Great Sound Recognition and Scrobbling App
A main upside over apps like Shazam and NowPlaying is the auto Scrobbling to Last.fm.
It puts the artwork front and center, and includes options to view the track in “Music” or add it to a playlist.
The prebuilt Siri Shortcuts are also really cool.
This app is less useful to me as the vast majority of the time, I listen to music using my phone. That being said, there are always those few occasions where I am playing audio with another device and want it to be added to Last.fm.
I can also see it being useful for Last.fm users that listen on an external sound system, smart speakers or on their computers.
A great app to have at my disposal.

I'm currently focusing on the scrobbling songs playing around you feature for now, such as external speakers or players, instead of what's playing in your phone. Hey, I'm not quite sure if I understood. The identifying feature of AirScrobble uses the Shazam API. If you're running into any troubled on identifying some songs, make sure you place your phone as close to the source of the sound as possible and that there isn't much distortion or loud noises conflicting with the song. For now I'm focusing on the idea of scrobbling songs that are playing outside your device, like on the radio or from a record player, but I'll note down your suggestion to see if I can add something to help you out in a future update.
