  • The Best Workout Tracker with caveats

I love this tracker and it’s the best one yet.
✅Design is the most modern of all the apps I have tried
✅Love the feedback of what muscles might be growing

but there are a few things

    **THE ONE BUG I FOUND**
The one bug I found was that the app does not track 45 degree barbell bent over rows as a lat exercise. So it’s not tracked in the total lat volume.

    **FEATURES MISSING**
    1. If you like pyramid training you are out of luck the app auto fills the sets based on the one you are on. So there currently is not a way to manually input different rep schemes unless you do it manually and update them yourself.

    2. I wish there was an option to save my favorite generated workouts so I could have a list of workouts

    3. The app doesn’t give you an option to do 3 days on and then one day off if you pick the 5 day workout. It just does 2 days on then one day off.

    4. I don’t see any Apple Watch integration so it’s not tracking your calories burned or connected to the apple health app.

    5. There is no way to track cardio in the app.

    6. No analytics to see my workouts across the weeks or any data points.

Overall the app is great and looks better I just wish it had all the analytics and integrations to really make this app be THE workout app you should use.
  • Decent, No Frills

Been using about a week now. Was pretty much exactly what I was looking for. No frills training plan for weightlifting at an affordable price.
Would be nice to have a “keep screen awake” function when using the app.
As someone who does a significant amount a cardio training as well it would be good to have a space to input that training…or have it read your Apple fitness activity and incorporate the data into training/recovery plans.
  • Disappointed

I love the IDEA of this app but the execution and functionality needs work. There are so many bugs making it extremely difficult to properly track my workouts. I would have better luck just tracking in my notes. The feature I have found most useful is swapping out exercises. I’m not always confident in figuring out which exercises will give me the same benefit so PUSH does the thinking for me. This is an expensive subscription for not working properly or tracking my weight progression properly. I will not be renewing.
  • Gains made easy!!!

This is a truly amazing app that makes it so simple to make epic gains. You can choose which muscles you want to prioritize, choose how many days a week you want to train, choose what kind of split you want to run and the app creates a custom program for you! The program is designed by science to maximize your muscle growth potential. I'm making awesome gains and I'm super grateful for this app! Much love to the creators. Highly reccommend. 🤝🤝🤝
  • Doesn’t save custom weight in history

Doing bicep curls, I did 10 lbs for a while, then when I wanted to increase to 12.5, it recommended 15 lbs. I’m assuming this is due to the fact that it doesn’t have a 12.5 increment.

However, when I overwrite the recommended weight with a custom typed in 12.5 lbs, it reverts back to either 10 or 15 lbs in my history.
  • The only workout app that I’ve stuck with

I’ve been using this app for about 6 months now and I keep coming back. I’ve used just about every other app on the market, but this is the best. The ability to learn why you’re doing specific exercises coupled with the progressive overload is my favorite feature. Being able to quickly edit parts of a workout that day of, or changing whole sets and rep ranges for the routine in general is also a major reason I prefer Push.
  • My Favorite

This is for sure my favorite of any workout planner/tracker. The app actually suggests smart moves for the next workouts as far as Set, Rep and Weight changes to keep you improving. A huge improvement from the generic AI workout builder. Big Ups to Joe for a stellar app. Excited to see where the updates will take this!!
  • Tried a lot of workout apps and this is by far, my favorite.

I’ve been going to the gym and following Joe Delaney for a couple of years. I’ve tried a lot of workout training and gym apps and finally decided to try this one. And I have to say, it’s my favorite one that I’ve ever used. I love the simplicity, minimalistic design, and effectiveness of it. Very well done and jam packed with a ton of intuitive and awesome features. It really feels like they thought of everything.

Some of my favorite features are:
The ability to generate your program split, the ability to customize and swap out exercises for similar ones that target the same muscles based on the availability of equipment, the simple tutorial videos that accompany each exercise, the effectiveness and priority ratings of each exercise, the research and information put into everything and easily accessible to you, the timed rest intervals between sets and exercises, the motivational notifications throughout your workout, and of course the ability to track your progress and the push feature that recommends progressive overload. It seems to be effective too!

    Joe Delaney is my hero!
  • More Features

Decent tracking app to use to record lifts and see progression. Few things I would like to see changed: ability to change the warm up weight, a section to be able to view and record cardio exercises. Something else that would be cool to see is a bare bones calorie tracker with the app, somewhere to just place your own tracked calories. It’s a very good app, but many places to improve to really justify the price imo.
  • Would give 6 stars if I could.

My wife and I just paid for a year of the app each. We are 1 year into our fitness journey with very different goals, and had both felt like we had hit a wall. This app gave us the extra knowledge we needed to to overcome that plateau.

The biggest game changer that this app introduced to me was the “full body” program that it generated. I always thought I needed to dedicate a full workout to just upper body or just legs etc. The full body program has allowed me to go into each exercise completely fresh and thus resulting in me being able to lift more weight and hit progressive overload more frequently. It also reduced my overall end-of-session fatigue and the LEG DAY DREAD!

This app reignited the fire in us and we now really look forward to going to the gym again!

What I would LOVE to see added to the app:
Stretches that pertain to the session we are about to do have just completed, or just a stretching program of any kind really. We are both still new to strength training and honestly have no idea how to properly stretch nor do we know how long we should be stretching for or if we should be stretching before or after, or both etc etc.
