Only available if you pay

‘In app purchases’ is misleading - the demo looked good but you can’t access the app until you pay. (Monthly or annually) not even a basic free model.

Error

Every time I complete a learning module/brain trainer it says error. I like the premise of the app, but there’s only 36 learning modules. Then what happens after those are complete? The timer shuts off when you leave the app. I will be cancelling this app next month.

Fantastic app for ADHD

As an early app, I did have a few issues in the first few days but they were all fixed after the first update. The journal prompts are great and I am enjoying using the timer with brown noise. To do list is also helpful. The learning section is also awesome for helping to understand how and why ADHD impacts me daily.

Incredible app, but quite buggy

I downloaded this app today (9/25). Here are some of my thoughts:

Pros
- I was hooked from the moment I opened the app! The tutorial was extensive but really succinct, and the app is super user-friendly without being childish. It truly feels like it was made by people with ADHD for people with ADHD!
- It has a bunch of functionality that I use multiple different apps for, which is so helpful! And I love that you can make to-dos from voice notes!
- The info in the learning tab is actually really quick and ADHD-friendly without being infantilizing. The tips are a bit general, but then again they’re general tips for general people.
- I really like the little genie dude!

Cons
- I had an error when I tried to submit a learning bite and had to start over.
- I also had an error when I tried to submit an answer to a journal prompt and had to start over.
- When entering a journal submission, the keyboard gets in the way of the submit button, so submitting can be frustrating

Other thoughts:
- I like that there’s is a color to indicate what the prompt is for today, but I wish it were a different color - red feels kind of negative, as if I missed the prompt for the day. Also, it would be cool if the prompt changed color once I submit my response!
- For me, a longer trial period would be helpful to see how well this fits into my daily schedule / try the app after some of the bugs are fixed.
- Would be cool to see some videos of this being used circulating around social media!

Overall, I’m really excited about this app! I would definitely pay $50/yr for this once the major bugs are fixed!

Tasks issue

I’d consider keeping the app if tasks could be marked as complete.

Love the idea

It’s so buggy. I keep getting “cannot load” pop up at the bottom of the page and I cannot check off completed items in my to do list.

Doesn’t work

Can’t complete tasks

3 days demo isn’t long enough to judge the app before paying 50 bucks a year.

Really doesn’t seem like they tested this very much before releasing but I was super hyped to try it because I really like the Dr, Hopefully it’ll get sorted soon

Good in concept - Bugs to work out

I LOVE the concept and have been following the release date on Instagram. There are just too many bugs to make this functional.

Examples: sleep time won’t save (fail to save error), focus level doesn’t save (keeps defaulting to another option), wasn’t able to click to-dos as completed (nothing happened) and then couldn’t carry them over to the following date.

I know a lot of time and energy went into this and look forward to using once the bugs have been resolved.

Love the app, but quite buggy

I really appreciate the time and intention that has gone into developing this app. If it worked as intended it would be such a helpful tool in my day to day life managing my adhd. However, there are quite a few bugs. The to do list doesn’t allow you to check things as complete. The to do list has also frozen, not allowing my to add items to the list unless I completely close the app and reopen it. When you finish a learning module, you get an error message saying it doesn’t register that you’ve finished. The focus tracker where you can record the status of several adhd management factors doesn’t register what I input and I get an error message saying it failed to update. Very excited about this app, but the number of bugs makes it a lot less helpful than anticipated. The highlight of the app has been the learning feature. The modules provided are so intuitive to what folks diagnosed late (41 years old for me!) would want to learn and the info is super digestible.

Great Premise, not so great execution

I just recently downloaded the app, and I really wanted to love it. However, there’s quite a few bugs that need to be worked out first. The app frequently resets your timer if your phone closes, it doesn’t let you update the task you complete, additionally, it doesn’t explain the UI very well, other than showing you the features. I’ll continue using the app for the rest of the month since I’ve been charged for it already, however I will most likely be deleting it if the bugs aren’t worked out yet. I’ve sent an email to the team so I’m hopeful the bugs can be fixed soon because this seems like it has the potential to be a great tool which is why I downloaded it.
