  • I love Visible app

I love this app. I am struggling with long covid and keeping logs really frustrated me. It so difficult to report my symptoms to doctors because I wasn’t able to track my issues daily, but this is very easy for me. I appreciate all the different issues I can track daily. I have worried about my low weight and having the loss of appetite score that I can see daily is helpful.
  • Loving the beta version

This app is going to be incredibly useful for pacing & crash avoidance for me (and the entire ME community). My only issue so far: 1) periodically it freezes & when opened, will only show the Visible Home Screen. I can delete app & redownload without losing data, and that fixes it. I have iPhone SE 2nd gen.

Hey! Really glad you can see the potential of Visible! Sorry to hear that you are experiencing some issues though with the app freezing on opening. If you are still experiencing this problem please get in touch via Profile>Help and feedback. We can then look into this issue in more detail!
  • Excited for the potential of this app

I think this is going to be *the* ME/CFS app.

It’s simple right now, in beta.

However, I have read all the blog posts and listened to a podcast interview of the creator, and I really like the direction they’re headed.

I love that the team is made up of people with ME and Long Covid, and experts from Workwell and Bateman Horne.

They are doing great at asking for feedback and then giving frequent updates and making changes based on that feedback.

The app and the website are beautiful and professional.

I’m really looking forward to the features of the paid app- especially all-day HRV monitoring and uptime monitoring. I also look forward to when medication tracking is added and when symptom tracking is a bit more refined.

One concern I have is that I hope the paid version will be affordable. Many in our community struggle financially and all deserve to be able to access tools that may help us.

Major thanks to all involved in making this app happen. Keep up the good work!

Hey! Thank you so much for your positivity about Visible. It means a lot to the team. We are doing our best to build the platform that those living with ME/CFS and Long Covid deserve!
  • Looks Good

It’s looking great for the beta version. One thing I would do, is do an interactive poll on apps with long Covid groups (Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, etc.) where people can add the different symptoms they feel. Then the answers from that can be implemented into the app. Long Covid has an extremely vast amount of popular and unique symptoms. It’s hard to categorize them into the ones currently in the app. But besides that, the app looks fine. I speak for all when I say we truly appreciate this app you’ve created for us.

Hey! Thanks for your positivity about Visible and your feedback. Couldn't agree more about the vast amount of symptoms with these conditions. We have based the symptoms included in Visible on extensive research and discussions with our experts. If people using Visible want to add their own custom symptoms they can do so by going to Profile>Your trackers. Hope this is helpful!
  • Doesn’t work with newer iPhones

This seems to only work with older iPhones, as even the creators mentioned. If your phone has more than one rear-facing camera lens, don’t bother downloading.
  • Highly recommend!

A great app for those managing life with Long Covid and Me.
  • Good start, but missing something important

One of my most serious and annoying symptoms is orthostatic hypotension, and there’s nowhere on the app to record it. “Dizziness” is listed, but dizziness is associated with disequilibrium, not lightheadedness. OT is very common in ME/CFS, in fact a hallmark, so it’s just weird that it got omitted. Please add it!

Hey! We have based the symptoms included in Visible on extensive research and discussions with our experts. We also do not want the lists to be overly extensive. If you want to add your own custom symptoms you can do so by going to Profile>Your trackers. Hope this is helpful!
  • Great, in theory

I really want to love this app, but I have a lot of UX feedback, including:
-App sometimes fails to open and just freezes on the landing page (screen that says “Visible.”)
-The HR sensor takes way too long to complete.
-There is no way to indicate if you are experiencing an uptick in symptoms because you ate something, took a medication, etc. I suggest an option that allows you to track that. For example, I have lupus and take a weekly injection which causes a symptom flare but should affect me that way less and less the longer I’m on it. Also, when I have to skip the medication, certain symptoms flare and I want to be able to track that.
-The reminders only happen if you have your phone on and active. If I wake up after the morning reminder, there’s no record of it in y notifications and I may forget to check in.

Hey Michele, Just wanted to check in and see how you are getting on with Visible following some of our most recent updates which we hope have improved the amount of time it takes to get an HR reading. Don't hesitate to drop us a message with your feedback using the 'Help and Feedback' section of the app! Thanks
  • Replaces my scribbles and anxieties with data

Before Visible, I was haphazardly writing symptoms, times, medications I’ve tested. Now I can easily track these with morning / evening checkins. 🙏🏼

Hey Mike! Really glad to hear that you are finding Visible helpful and easy to use!
