  • Great workouts, frustrating app

    I’ve been working out with Caroline for a long time and I’ve always admired the quality of her content! The workouts on her app meet that expectation; however, the app has numerous bugs that make it incredibly frustrating to use. I chrome cast the video to my TV and the video constantly buffers and often crashes. I know it’s not my internet because the video plays fine on my phone without chrome casting. When the video crashes, it doesn’t save my place, so I need to skip through the warmup and intro then find the timestamp where I left off of. Sometimes when I try fast forwarding, the video doesn’t respond, causing me to reopen the app and hope it works when I try again. I basically need to allocate more time to my daily workout to account for all these technical difficulties. All these issues are making me regret purchasing a subscription. I hope these issues are fixed soon, so I can continue working out with Caroline frustration-free.

  • App freezes

    I love the workouts, but so far I have had 3 different workout freeze on me when it gets to about 75%. I use chrome cast to connect to the TV. First I thought it was because of that. Then I disconnected from the TV and ran the same workout on the phone and the problem persists. Please advice.
  • Great to build confidence and fitness

    I hadn’t heard of Caroline Girvan until recently but I am so glad to have found her app. I am half way through the beginner’s programme and would recommend to anyone who doesn’t have much experience of entering the open section of your gym and using the dumbbells. I lean my phone on my water bottle and with the wireless earphones in my ear it feels like Caroline is in the room with me. Can always feel the workout afterwards and can feel the difference in my confidence and stability. Hoping to keep going and see some differences in my strength and tone. Thanks Caroline.

  • Poorly Thought Out App

    I am a huge fan of Caroline Girvan - I started following her on You Tube during lockdown. I’m delighted that she has launched this App, however it has been poorly devised which is disappointing. My main issues are (1) video stream is uncompressed and each workout is over 1Gb and I can find no way to stream compressed. This means the App burns data fast! (2) on holiday in Greece the App denied me entry, meaning I couldn’t continue my workouts as planned (3) the home page is poor - no direct link to the main focus of the App ie the 10 week workout programmes. The App content gets 5 stars, the App itself is barely worthy of 1 star!

  • Keep losing my login info

    My app keeps restarting and is now saying I haven’t completed any program workouts when I’ve done all of the Beast Mode program but two from this week. Please explain. I signed up and paid with my Apple ID and now it’s telling me to login and I can’t use those credentials. It created a new profile for me and I have no info. Please explain.

  • What a workout!

    Love, love, love this app. Caroline does everything top notch. I haven’t had any issues or bugs. The simplicity of it is ideal, easy to navigate to whatever content you are looking for. Well worth the wait! Very professional and tons of information!
  • Good workouts, buggy app

    Love Caroline, love the workouts, but having paid 100 a year I would expect the app to function.

    I stream the workouts using chromecast or airplay depending on which room I’m working out in. These issues have happened with both-

    If I watch the intro, then want to turn off the music for the workout, it restarts the intro. Annoying but not the worst.

    The real problem has come where often about 75% of the way through a workout it pauses and won’t load further. I try restarting the app, going backwards, waiting for buffer, and it will just won’t continue. It’s not my internet because I can stream on my phone from then on but that’s pretty annoying because it is too small to see. I don’t have this problem streaming from other apps. I tried logging in to my partner’s Ipad to at least use a slighting bigger screen when that happens but even logged into my account it says we have to sign up first.

    This is making the app almost unusable for me and I really think this issue should be fixed.

  • Calendar issues

    As with any new app, there is always room for improvement. I’m loving the programs and all the features! Is there a way to wipe the calendar and restart if you’ve goofed it up? I like that you can input an entire program, but if you get off track, it’s difficult to change. I now have multiple days of programs on each calendar day. Yep, I goofed it….I just want to fix it. Other Than that, WELL DONE! : )

  • Good workouts, app still has few bugs to fix

    I love Caroline and have been an avid follower since the beginning of the pandemic. I was so excited to see her finally have an app to use. However, the casting feature is still finicky and it doesn’t want to cast and stops in the middle of my workout. I would also love to see the video save my place if I ever need to leave the app as when it crashes I need to start the warm up and video all over again. Overall great but could be more user friendly!

  • Needs fixing

    I purchased the year outright and I do love Caroline’s workouts. But the app itself just isn’t working correctly. Not sure if it’s because of my timezone or if there’s an error. Firstly I had to start the program a week later to make sure I could follow the training days as the time they’re released is later than the Australian timezone for 6am training. Then the calendar never has the correct workout attached to the day that I put it in, or it doesn’t show a workout at all. Of all the workouts I’ve completed it’s also only said I’ve done 4 which isn’t correct. I’ve been able to cast it and play my own music which is fantastic. But if the calendar and assigning workouts aren’t working, it’s pretty annoying. I have to scroll back up through the list and find what I might be up to as I know I can’t rely on the calendar. Like I said, perhaps it’s all down to the timezone and it goes a bit haywire. Even this morning, after finishing my workout, I assigned the next workout to the next day and when I went back into the calendar, it has a dot on tomorrow’s date but no workout assigned, and then on today’s it’s got the new workout for tomorrow saved. Just doesn’t make sense. And it doesn’t show the workout I completed today! I have tried contacting you through the help desk but it’s been two weeks and I’m yet to hear a response. If these things could be fixed, I’d be happy. Thanks.
