Grant Permission
I was having difficulty pressing the grant permission button on my iPhone for the app to continue. I remember that I changed my text settings awhile back. I went and changed my text settings to a smaller text and I was able to press the Grant permission button. Issues solved, I hope that this will help others.Show lessWillma-M
Disappointing
The app never worked properly and always asked for location to be granted, but never gave the option. Very disappointed.Mflegel1
Garbage
This product has caused frustration, disappointment, anger and anxiety! We’ve spent countless hours trying to get it to work. However, we did get it working at one point for a very short period of time. We tried to reconnect but it kept sending us in a loop. We do NOT recommend this product at all!Show lessTomandkimonawhim
New non-functional application / Nouvelle application non fonctionnelle
Like several other users, the application did not work.
I called “Lippert customer care”.
The lady in the “one control auto” section made me check the “display and brightness” section in my cell phone
The Bold character must be disabled and the display zoom must be disabled too.
In a few minutes, the application works as before…
Sad that the app manager didn't write this simple warning for everyone's benefit...

J’ai appellé « Lippert customer care ».
La dame de la section « one control auto » m’a fait vérifier la section « affichage et luminosité» sur mon cellulaire.
Le caractère Gras doit être désactivé et le zoom d’affichage doit être désactivé aussi.
En quelques minutes, l’application fonctionne comme avant…

Dangerous- do not use
I’ve been very happy with my echo controller since Jan 2021.
I forced to upgrade to this app - while driving. We pulled over, upgraded and had a working app for about an hour before it just locked the brakes. I was in a single lane construction zone in the mountains and couldn’t stop. My car starting throwing ‘check engine’ as it was working to drag the car dolly in tow.
I closed, changed the profile, and went again.
Heading down from Eisenhower tunnel it locked the brakes again. We made an emergency stop, removed the controller and hoped for the best.
My car brakes were fried on the descent.
Who make the decision to a forced release to this app? Curt/Echo need to do an internal investigation and take disciplinary action. This is a horrible failure.
I’ll be reaching out to the company directly after I’ve had a mechanic inspect my tow vehicle and car dolly.

Garbage
Want to give negative stars. The old app worked fine, now it constantly says it loses Bluetooth connection (5 times in a 20min trip on more than 1 occasion) & when it is connected it randomly applies the brakes and keeps them on until you brake heavily & even then sometimes they are still engaged. Does not connect!!
Asks for a pairing number for Bluetooth even though it’s connected to my Bluetooth and there is nowhere on the unit that it has a read out to show numbers!!
USELESS APP to connect to Curt Echo!!!
Will not connect so I have no control of this unit anymore!!

Too good to be true
Spent four hours driving total and ended up returning this product. The app did not work from the beginning. It’s bad news. Contact your local trailer. Hit shop and get reliable old-fashioned trailer break set up. I would give this negative stars for all the waste of time however, one was the lowest.Show lessAvi Maui

This new app keeps asking for Bluetooth to be turned on,it’s on and connected but the app doesn’t see it. Garbage app!!Flindall4
