  • Seems pretty good

    Nice interface, supports faceID, it’s come a long way in the past year or so.
  • Not good at all

    App doesn’t accept my login details anymore. Have tried both manual and auto logins. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app. I have to use the website banking now and some transfers take longer.
    I’ve tried to contact the bank for help why it’s no longer accepting my details and I received no response back.

    The app is about as good as their customer service these days.
  • Border farce 2

    As with the previous comments from disgruntled customers, I’m also experiencing major disruptions to conducting transfers both internally and externally.
    I tried to pay a time sensitive bill using BPay that I could do without hassle on the old app. Payment didn’t go through after more than five attempts. The result was an annoyed landlord but not my fault?
    Try to lodge a complaint with bank or speak to anyone and just get told wait time is taking longer due to the issues with the app!
    Considering changing banks big time if this app isn’t fixed very soon.

  • Not fit for purpose

    When you log out of this app, the next time you log in you need to remember your bank account number and online password, which defeats the purpose of having an app. It then requires a validation number sent by SMS. Nor do I see any new features to make this app better than the old one. A major step backwards. As an update on the above, not only is it impossible to transfer between accounts, but the numbers on each account are different from the real account numbers. I’m seriously thinking of withdrawing all my money from this bank if it doesn’t address these problems urgently. As a further update the CEO has finally sent customers an apologetic email today (20 Oct) acknowledging the problems. However too little too late. I’ve pulled almost all my money out and put it somewhere else and I will not start returning money to Border Bank until the app is fixed. Update 16 Nov. The App has returned to the App Store and can be downloaded again. I road tested it this morning after an email from fhe CEO. I see no improvements at all. My only error in my review was to mistake a highly user unfriendly interface for no ability to transfer money at all. You can, in theory, transfer money and I tried transferring $50 out of the bank today, but it did not work - either it is delayed or it did not go through despite saying it was complete.

  • Can’t even login

    Despite repeated calls and requests for feedback that never happen, I still can’t login to the app!
    Have now switched transaction accounts to new bank!
  • No fixes with update

    No fixes with update. Same rubbish. Considering changing banks because of this inconvenience.
  • Great lesson in how to go backwards

    App is hopeless, clunky and not user friendly. Not sure why this was an “improvement”. It’s useless on an iPad.

    Considering changing banks. Why do I have to enter my full member and password on log in, and the lag in bank transfers is ridiculous.
  • Slow and difficult to use

    Really unhappy with the new app. It takes over a day for my transfers between accounts to show up. Its difficult to navigate and not user friendly at all. Really bad app
