Good luck if you need technical support

Terrible technical support. App is slow and clunky. I lodged a ticket a month ago to request deleting my account so I can redo the setup. The ticket was closed once I managed to migrate my data and one month later tech support unilaterally deleted my account causing me to lose access to all my data and then refused to acknowledge their fault. Even blamed me for deleting my v8 data which was already migrated a month ago.

Avoid this product like a plague. Unprofessional tech team most guaranteed to cause you to lose data.

Terrible

This is pretty much the worst app I’ve ever owned and I deeply regret buying it Despite almost a year, and numerous updates, this organisation has not been able to solve the problems with wifi sync between devices. This just does not work. a disgrace.

MUCH Improved Interface, Functionality Maintained

I migrated from SplashID Safe 8 to SplashID Pro 9 and I think the new user interface is dramatically improved! Also, all functionality for me has been maintained, so I am quite happy with this update.

NOTE TO DEVELOPER: Suggestion - Please add an option under “Settings, General” to toggle on or off the pop-up little blue window that appears when you hover the mouse pointer over a record in the list - when scrolling the list with the mouse, this window blocks the view and becomes intrusive. Thanks!

Poor UI and record corruption

I have been a Splash user for years and recently “upgraded” to Pro 9. I use it on Windows and WiFi sync to iPhone. The interface on both platforms is slow to load. I had a record get corrupted during WiFi sync and reported it to support over a month ago, they only did a stock response and haven’t addressed the issue yet. Locating the wifi sync options on both Windows and iOS is a bit of a guessing game every time, it doesn’t seem to be consistent. FaceID to open the app is no longer supported.

I’m definitely looking for an alternative at this point.

Still buggy a year after release! Unworthy successor to SplashID 8. UNRELIABLE SYNC.

UPDATE: Sync is unreliable between devices!!! I have had record changes overwritten, and records not syncing between devices. Just now, I cloud synced Mac (618 records) and iPad (609) records. It should be the same number, but some aren’t syncing. If you know which record isn’t syncing, you can edit it which updates the timestamp, and then it will sync. I think the sync timestamp design is unreliable and fundamentally broken. DO NOT USE SPLASHID 9! I can’t use something that can’t correctly sync, and overwrites changes to records. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I have used splashid since PalmPilot days. SplashID 8 is great, but the interface for SplashID 9 is still buggy at v9.2.5. It feels like a beta version, with 4 reload flashes in several seconds after you load, prompts to enter password multiple times, and some really confusing interface choices. I did report this to the developer, who promised all would be fixed in the next release... Right. I wish they would dump the new interface and update SplashID 8 with the updated backend of SplashID 9. I suggest current users stay on SplashID 8 and just test v9. Report your concerns to the developer and hope they don't turn off the old version support.

Does not work

Having been a long time user of SplashID and invited to update to this version I am very disappointed. Followed installation instructions but unable to transfer my lifetime subscription from previous version. Login very problematic.

Worst app I have ever owned

After more than six months, and numerous updates, and numerous support requests, I still can’t Wi-Fi sync my iPhone and my Mac data. Hopeless.

Touch ID on MacOS doesn't work

Been reporting this to Splash for about a year now. Keep being told to upgrade to latest version. Never changes anything. Not going to continue to use if I have to type in a long password every time I want to use.

Really poor app compared to v8 which seems to work completely fine. Very dissapointed as have used Splash for many years but may not continue

Fantastic

Just so convenient now- and using it for the last month- faultless! Have used SplashID for years and this is timely upgrade at no cost as I had lifelong subscription.

Long Time User of Splash ID

I have been using Splash when perhaps this was the only game in town, during the days of PalmPilot, GPS3600 PDA, and Blackberry with WiFi sync with local desktop Splash ID app on windows, much before the advent of iPhone, and 1Password app. Splash ID has never failed me.

I accepted the offer to pay extra for Lifetime license, sometime in 2015 much before the subscription model was introduced.

I am so happy that the company has extended the lifetime license even the new Splash ID Pro 9.

The new Splash ID pro 9 is a superior product.
