Great app, but a paywall.
It’s a great app, with daily use words and good clips to show off the word in different sentences and contexts along with the intonations. It’s just that after lesson 6 on the first unit, every other lesson other than lessons 1&2 for the other units are gatekept with needing to buy premium for. Making it unaccessible to people who want to learn without paying like myself.Show lessKaisuKo

Finally, there’s something for us!
Finally, a language learning app for Gestalt Processors! This app is so effective because it uses Gestalt Processing techniques to teach the language - rather than teaching you individual words and how to construct a sentence, it shows you whole sentences, and gives you those sentences in memorable contexts (spoken by real humans, NOT TTS ROBOTS) so that you can learn how to construct sentences through osmosis. Most language learning apps do not do this, and while the usual approach works for people who prefer to learn words one by one, it creates more work for Gestalt Processors and makes language learning unnecessarily difficult for us. This app makes it so much easier to acquire the target language without all the frustration of memorising individual words, having to figure out how they fit together and inevitably failing! I already feel like I’m acquiring the language after only one session and I will definitely be paying for the premium version. Good job, Uni!Show lesspazasaurus

Overall very good for memorising new vocabs & phases.
Just one thing from rating it 5 stars is that the scrolling mode (or watch mode? Idk) always run out of clips. I think it’ll be better for it to go on loop clips by clips so that we can strengthen the memories.leoooooo0
Great contextual learning
I don’t think I’ve ever written a review before! Out of all the apps that I tried for language, this one has been very good at helping me remember things contextually. Instead of just learning things on their own, it makes things much more interesting to see them in a bite-size piece of media.ksudhdhdjdhdh
Does not have 24 lessons free
I signed up because it said 24 lessons free but only 4 lessons were free and I didn’t even do the first two because they were super basic like “konnichiwa”. Wanted to like and get a feel for the app but can’t do that in 2 lessons. Unfortunate.sabbumah
Support for iPad landscape mode please
Why can’t i watch the videos on landscape mode on an iPad? It’s only vertical which is not very convenientTKHOORY
