Goodbye Home Feed After talking with customers, we have removed the Home Feed tab. Your content is not lost, but is now available as a room. Rooms and Essentials now live in one unified view. New theme system Now you can select an accent color and dark or light mode for each Fam you’re in. This gives you more control and makes the app easier to keep improving. Sidebar navigation Keep your fams and DMs more organized in our spacious new sidebar!

Welcome to HeyFam 3.0! This update contains a pretty big overhaul to the app we all know and love. We hope you love the changes we've been working on. Brand New Home Feed - This is the go-to place for the things you want your Fam to see: photos, important updates, announcements—Home is where it happens. Dedicated Rooms Tab - For all your topic-based conversations, we’ve given Rooms their own space in the app where you can continue to talk together as a Fam. Family Essentials Tab - All of your family’s photos, media, notes, and other information can be found here, along with settings. More helpful features will be coming soon to this tab. Chatbooks Integration - We’ve made it even easier to share photos to Chatbooks! Long press on photos on the Home feed to share to your Monthbooks or any other book you have in Chatbooks. - You can also hit the share button in the photo view to share directly to Chatbooks. Global DMs - We’ve moved Direct Messages onto the global navigation bar, giving you a one-stop shop for all of your direct messages across all of your Fams. Other stuff: - For our long-time users, you probably had a “Home” room from the jump. Don’t worry--that’s all still available in your “General” room. But think of the Home Feed as the new and improved place for sharing updates, photos, and more! - If you’re looking for a threaded reply or emoji reaction that you missed, find it in the Replies & reactions area next to DMs. - We’ve been hard at work on improvements and bug fixes behind the scenes, too, to hopefully make your experience in the app even smoother. - If you’ve got feedback for us (of any kind), don’t hesitate to reach out to us!
