Frustrated

I’m beyond frustrated. I want to be ready to report a harvest. When I select a current license and view it, I can’t scroll. So I have no way to reach features -including ‘report a harvest’. I’ve tried many times and in all of my current licenses. Same result…

Response from developer

In your device settings there should be a display menu that allows you to increase or decrease the font size and style. If you are willing, please try this option to see if it will allow you to select and view buttons as expected. If that does not resolve the issue for you, please let me know. If you can, please include the device type, model, and software version. For example Samsung Galaxy S21 version 13 or iPhone 12 version 15.6.1

Game land?

This is a hunt and fish app but there are no options/layers on the map for state game or public hunting land. Would be a nice addition for game hunters.

Response from developer

Thank you for the suggestion! We are currently looking into what additions to the map feature we can update in future versions of the application. Please be sure to update the application with new versions as they occur to see all the new features available.

Pleasant experience

Easy to follow UI, good description of location, great all-in-one tool for hunting logs, searching, and resources.

Response from developer

Thank you for the 5-star review! Please be sure to update the application with new versions as they occur to see all the new features available.

Awesome information at your finger tips!

Excellent app! I love having all my info available in one spot, that it’s accessible at any time and how easy it makes doing a harvest report! It would be nice to be able to see what version I have currently and if I need to update. Thank you!!

Response from developer

Thank you so much for your positive review. The version can be viewed by clicking on the hamburger menu in the upper left corner of the main screen, then in the menu you can click on the "Info" icon in the lower right corner just above the Sync button.

Almost perfect

The app is almost perfect, only one thing I would like to see.

For fishing licenses, as a future enhancement add the ability to add the fishing license to apple wallet, that way if someone is not in a cell area, they still have access to their digital licenses?

Response from developer

That is a great suggestion, thank you! You can still access all of your license history while offline once it has been downloaded, but they will still be in the DNR application. You can test this using airplane mode on your device.

Location/Tracking

When signing up you have to agree for them to check your location. Not something I’m willing to do and should not be required.

Response from developer

Location services are not required to use the application. When turned on they will allow the weather tile to give you accurate information and when using the map feature. When location is off, these can still be used but you will need to manually zoom/scroll to your desired location.

Needs work.

Good concept but the map area is severely lacking. Needs to show state game/hunting lands with boundaries. Map also needs a navigation option.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. The DNR will be adding features to the application and have several plans already to add map layers for our customers. More to come!

So Happy

I am so glad they made this app its incredibly useful to have all my licenses all organized for me and all the digests available to read easily all in one little app

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback and review!

Harvest Reporting

It would be great if we could report our harvests using the app, since it’s a punishable requirement now.

Response from developer

The application will be the easiest way to report a harvest for the new requirement but not the only way. When you are ready to complete your harvest report simply click on the Licenses tile, select the correct license, then on the license detail screen you will see a Harvest Report button. The report will not be able to be completed prior to the first day of season begins, but you can view it anytime.
