Excellent
Vivaldi is my favorite browser, and I now use the iOS and desktop versions for 90% of my web activity. It’s fast and responsive, and does a good job of blocking ads and trackers. Vivaldi can’t completely stop all ads or certain types of popups, but it works very well to tame ad-saturated sites that are almost unusable on other browsers. I appreciate not having to install third-party ad-block extensions that often have their own issues. Overall, an excellent product. No way to turn off JavaScript or use extensions
Edit: after using Vivaldi for a while now it’s not a good browser given you can’t turn off JavaScript nor use extensions. And it’s super locked in what you can do. What happened? Did they end up getting bought out finally by the ad cos and sided with them instead of us?
Original: Use Vivaldi on Linux, Windows and Mac. Best browser. Switched from Firefox long ago and been so happy. Ability to tile tabs is the best, gold medal to that team that did it. Lately there’s been some issues with auto filling passwords but they’ll fix it. Overall sync works great and it’s just so goodFinally a customizable browser
Granted Apple limits what kind of customization is possible on iOS devices I will say they are definitely pushing the envelope where no one else is. The desktop experience is so many times better but I bet if allowed to do so the mobil experience would blow Safari out of the water. Vivaldi is so much better than any other browser company out there (even Opera imo) because they empower the user on a granular level (at least for the desktop experience). Thank you Vivaldi!
