  • Getting better…

I had high hopes for this after wearing Oura ring for 18 months and having it no longer hold a full day’s charge. I loved that there was no subscription with Evie and was eager to see if it would provide the same readings that I had with Oura. The first week I had Evie, I noticed the data was really off. Reporting way more steps than I actually took and much longer sleep (thinking I was asleep while working at my desk). It definitely got better after a month of wear but still over-reporting. I tried to contact support with no luck on getting a response. I’ll continue using the ring in hopes of their algorithms getting better and maybe one day being integrated with Apple Health. I most got the ring for sleep and menstrual tracking. I’ll give it another 2-3 months before evaluating whether the menstrual tracking actually works… a full month of data is just not enough to predict cycles. So far I think the improvements being made in the few weeks I’ve worn it show promise. Hoping things get a lot better.

  • It's New I Will Wait

The app left a lot to be desired. I will still keep my ring in hopes that since it's such a new product they will make improvements as the critiques come in, etc. However, many will not have the patience I am willing to afford this company. I don't think it's tracking my sleep correctly. Sometimes I'll have it on all night and when I sync it will will show me no sleep data at all. The steps are definitely off, and I wish the app had other features to provide. I understand that it's because there's no monthly membership fee for the app, that it may not be able to provide certain services. However, at the minimum be able to track O2, Sleep, Heart, and Working Out features perfectly to make up for that at the very least. I will continue using for a few months but I hope they slowly improve their product because much was promised and so far blah.

  • Pretty disappointing

I ordered this ring back in December after contemplating going with its competitor, but I thought it was new and I’d give them a chance because I like the features it offered.
After the initial payment/order for my ring I was told they would start shipping in January of 2024, which then got pushed back and I finally received it around the end of March 2024. I was excited to try it out, wore it for 2 days thought it was going great and then third day is says no ring paired. Then tried disconnecting from Bluetooth and it wouldn’t reconnect. (I tried emailing the company, still haven’t heard back from them, and it’s been about a week)
Finally, the app had an update and my ring paired for one day, just to disconnect the next morning, not to mention the battery life is TERRIBLE.
I’m really sad because I was so excited for this ring and it WASN’T cheap 😭
Hope they can work some of the kinks out or refund our money.

  • Updated: easy to use, HORRIBLY inaccurate

    Final update.
The only pros: the ring’s flexible design makes it comfortable to wear and the app is easy to use. But IT DOESN’T WORK. I’ve had problems with the app crashing and losing sleep data. When it does save, the sleep data is wildly inaccurate: it consistently has me sleeping at least 30 minutes after I get up and does not catch a single “awake” time regardless of the fact that when I get up to go to the bathroom I GET STEPS during that time. Step count is insanely off: I wore a pedometer for a full day and compared it to the ring and the ring was inflated by 50%. I also noticed I get steps when I’m working/typing at my desk, when I haven’t gotten up once.
I’ve reported all of these issue, multiple times, after each update. I’m able to fix the app crashing issue, by deleting and reinstalling the app but that means I lose my data. So what’s the point of their “insights” if you have to regularly start over from scratch because they can’t fix their app crashing issue?

It’s a red flag that they don’t have reviews on their website, and the fact that they turned off comments on Instagram. They clearly don’t want people to have a forum to give honest feedback.

They may make this a usable product at some point in the distant future, but I’ve waited fruitlessly for 2.5 months (and 6 app updates) and they haven’t managed to fix a single thing. I’m done, I’m switching to a competitor.

  • Wanted to love it

I held out for this ring because I loved what it promised. We waited and waited for the ring as they kept pushing the shipping date out farther and farther before not responding. I begged my partner not to cancel the order because this is the ring I wanted. Now that I have it I wish we had canceled the order. It tells me that I sleep from midnight to 5:55am every day. Last night I slept from 10:45-10am and the. Night before was 8:30-4:30. So the tracking isn’t just off, it’s making up whatever it wants entirely. Oh, and you can’t edit the logs. There is no way to see prior days data with certain metrics. Like HRV. If you want to see any sort of health trends you have to make yourself a spreadsheet because tomorrow morning when you sync the new day all the previous data is gone. How is that helpful? Also, I’ve heard a lot of people saying that this rig gives you the ability to compare health data with your cycle. It would be nice to be able to overlay the data so see how it’s compared to my cycle. Like to see how my HRV or body temp fluctuates throughout my cycle. The ring is beautiful, I love the design, the fit, the color. But I bought this as a functional device, not pretty jewelry, and because of that it’s practically useless. I’m honestly heartbroken but will be returning it unless an app update (overhaul) comes out ASAP.

  • Promising but needs work

I’m really excited about this ring and I expect kinks since it is brand new- here is what I’m hoping will improve over time
    - Accuracy - particularly my sleep is usually immaculate. It says I slept from 1-5 this morning but I went to bed at 10:15 and slept until 6:30. It also says I’m rarely in deep or rem sleep which doesn’t seem accurate.
    - I wish the app sent me notifications when it noticed changes in heart rate or body temperature (I’ve heard that you can tell if you are about to get sick with the Oura ring- can this ring do that with body temp measurements)
    - furthermore on body temperature, I doubt the accuracy of this. I get really warm when I sleep but it usually says I have a lower body temp while I sleep.
    - I don’t like that I have to log a work out. Shouldn’t it be able to tell when I’m working out and log it for me? I already log work outs in another app.
    - I thought the ring would tell me when I was about to start my period because it can tell by body temp. So why do I need to log it?

I am hoping to do more of a direct comparison to the oura ring once I talk to my friends who have that one. I am happy to not have to pay the monthly fee of Oura, which is why I chose the Evie ring. I hope the above can be improved so I can feel reassured in my purchasing decision.

  • Hoping for updates soon

I got this to track my sleep. It says I got ten minutes of deep sleep last night. The timing is right for when I sleep but there’s no way all my sleep is light. Also, I wake up early, not on purpose, and fall back asleep but as this app does not track naps, I don’t know my real sleep for the day. The step counter is also ridiculous, as well. I put together a bed frame and walked 4k steps. The activity doesn’t work for me at all and the spot check doesn’t track oxygen correctly. It would also be nice if you could actually type a short journal entry in the journal… I know the app is new so I hope things start to change and we also have more than three goal options. I’d like a temperature graph, as well. So much was promised over the Oura ring but I think I might be returning this and getting that instead.

  • Disappointed

While it’s clear they put a lot of thought and energy into the visual design for this app and experience, the intuitive function is less than awesome. I preferred my Fitbit’s UI, and the quantity of data was much deeper or easier to understand / easier to find. I also don’t find this app to be particularly helpful in tracking my cycle as it should be proactively asking me questions when it knows that I’m having a cycle.

Another disappointing thing is how often I need to charge the ring and the fact that the charger needs to be plugged in. My husband has the Rinconn ring and he charges it less than once a week and his charging case is some kind of miracle that’s always full of charge even when it’s not plugged in. Why can’t Evie accomplish the same thing?

Big Meh on my first 2 weeks. I do love the way this ring looks on my hand. It is a little chunky, but it’s cool chunky…

  • Does not seem accurate

I’ve been sleeping with my ring on- I got it specifically for sleep monitoring. Last night I had one of the worst sleeps of my life was awake for a solid three hours in the middle of the night tossing and turning and when I looked at my app today I was told I met my sleep goal of 8 hours and barely had any awake time (1.5hrs) sporaticially. The peak of my awake time it shows I was in a deep sleep. Also, the sp02 monitor never works while wearing the ring when I do a check- it only works if I move the ring to my finger tips so I’m not sure how it is reading this accurately during my sleep when it has never worked while I have been awake. I waited so long and wanted to love this ring. But I’m second guessing and having buyers remorse. I know it is brand new and needs time to work out the bugs I just hope the accuracy can be addressed sooner rather than later.

  • Great for a start

This app works just like it says it will. It’s free, doesn’t try to sell you anything and doesn’t require subscriptions. no he’s doing something private to the door.
It perfectly syncs with my ring. I wanted a ring as opposed to a smart watch, so I don’t have to be tethered to messages and all the other distractions throughout the whole day. It was not good for me This has been amazing for my sleep tracking also. I have a lot of new insight.
Some suggestions the period tracking should have symptom buttons like in Apple health. The sleep data should be able to capture naps. And hopefully, soon you can make a contract integrate with Apple health.
