  • So far not so good

I’m not even that far into the game and already plagued with the horrible energy consumption. I want to play a game not have energy that is horribly unbalanced and random and stops me cold unless I pay money. Like a little flower takes 18 energy to remove. A big item took 7. But the same bigger debri then costs 22 or 25? What??!! Energy is the worst thing to have in games. Money grab. SpongeBob moves in was better.

Response to dev: your “ways to make energy” are hard enough and it doesn’t negate the extreme unbalance in energy usage. You need to look again at it. Make small things use less, larger things use more. It’s a stupid and extremely unbalanced system you have. This game won’t be around too much longer. SpongeBob Moves In was definitely better and still failed.

  • Unbalanced

I think the game js entertaining but I feel like it’s pretty unbalanced. You can use all of your energy pulling a kelp within 2 seconds and have to wait for more energy… so it really feels like you are making no progress. I never clear out bikini bottom because it’s too expensive and it prevents me from getting any further in the story. Also, it feels like the “weeds” in bikini bottom are regenerating which is very frustrating because they are so expensive to clear. The state of the game currently feels like something someone will download and only play for few days because they get frustrated. I think that it would be a lot more fun if the cost of everything was 75% cheaper or you were give 200 energy. Thank you

  • Ehhhhh…SpongeBob

I’m a huge spongebob fan and as soon as I saw this game pop up on my feed I downloaded it. The graphics are beautiful and I love the idea. After about an hour I had fully spent all of my beginning energy. I was hoping that after that point I would be able to play a mini game to regain energy. Sadly it does not have that aspect. This game has a lot of potential but it is missing pieces to keep the gamer engaged. I don’t like having to wait hours to get enough energy to unlock a few things and then have to wait again. So this one is a miss for me.

  • No energy caps?

It’s a fun game. I enjoy it truly. But once you hit an hour or two, the game becomes the waiting game. When you level up you get your energy maxed, but like most of these kinds of games that give you a bigger max cap, this game sticks you at 50. And the use of energy is insane. Most things require 30-45 energy. So you can guess what I’m getting at. Sure they have a few mini game things to give you more energy, but that still only gives you about 5 minutes more of gameplay. I do want to enjoy this game on my days off/breaks, but there’s just to much waiting :(. Please fix this issue as I’ve seen it’s a huge complaint! At least at more max energy when you level up, as it makes much more since to do that.

  • Love it, but…

I really love this game. It’s super cute & fun. However, I only got to level 6 & have to wait for energy. I’m spending a few minutes of play & hours of waiting to play a few minutes again. You must pay to play. I don’t mind paying money to get lots of extras & progress further. However, I can stand the fact that you can’t play without paying for energy. This is not how you get loyal players. A game that the developers should look at is Sarah’s Adventure, it’s similar in expanding & such, but you don’t have to pay to play. I do spend about a hundred bucks a month on that game for extra decorations & such. But energy is plentiful & regenerates fast. I’m deleting the Sponge Bob game. I will check back in the future to see if this issue is addressed & fixed.

  • MORE ENERGY PLEASE

I’ve only been playing the game for 2 weeks or so, it’s plenty of fun and I play it at work so the wait for energy isn’t terrible…..but I would GREATLY appreciate a higher cap than 50 simply so I can do more when I open the app ever 2-3 hours or so. I’m a total snob for city builders having played Family Guy and the Simpsons but I’m definitely discouraged by wasting all of my energy removing 1/2 an item. Increase the cap or allow more options to receive energy without paying and you’ve got a player for life!!

  • Needs an energy rework

Love this game, but my only complaint is you earn energy to slow and when exploring the map, you hardly get any either. I wouldn’t recommend spending money on diamonds either because you don’t get enough for your moneys worth. If they can fix those two issues, the game is perfect. In my opinion if you like these kind of games.

EDIT: I do feel the game lacks character. There is hardly any people walking around, there are plenty of notable characters but they have their own spots away from “home”. I feel there should be more NPC’s walking around. Energy is still a problem especially later in the game. You will need EVERYTHING so farm any resources you can while you have them. I wouldn’t recommend leaving the jellyfish area until you’ve cleared everything for the resources, otherwise you will be missing out on stuff you need later.

  • Please improve this.

As you said on other reviews, play a lot to earn more energy… doesn’t matter how long. It’s way to ridiculous the prices of landscaping. Need a ton more energy options.

Game is great, but I’m not playing it, if it takes 10 seconds to lose your energy on 1-3 things or having to wait to farm something that’s 164 to clear. This game has potential if you actually listen to the review and don’t say play more play more. We will play more if you make the game worth playing for more then 30 seconds.

If your feed back is thank you for time we will look into it.. actually look into it and do it. I’ll give it till one update. If it’s not fixed, this game is not for me.

  • It’s fun but,

This is a really fun game., but why is the energy level only 50 when every item is basically that much or more, and u have to sometimes tap one multiple times of the same amount of energy every time, it’s fun but also very difficult when you have to wait and wait to do something. I also just watched a ad for 25 energy didn’t work so watched one again. Still didn’t work. So I won’t watch anymore ads if they can’t deliver what they say. For kids., I don’t think it would keep interest long, as the wait and clearing is a long task. Hopefully it’s a fix coming soon. It is fun but it’s a game you shouldn’t make it where u have to pay money for things or wait and wait.

  • Love it so far

Been playing for a few days and I like it. The battery charge I think is a bit low only having 50, as some debris needs more like 75 to rid of it. The different ways to get batteries does help a tad bit. I dont mind too much as I enjoy the mini game. (Little thing) I have noticed something tho, the benches you fix in the game. I had put them in storage so I could have room to place a building. When I went back to the game the benches were back In their place with jam back on them. But when I place them(the ones in storage) some where, the jam benches vanish. Im not too bothered by this, was just confused about it. Keep up the good work and would love to see more improvements and updates of the game.
