Game pass never lasts long enough!!

So I’m definitely a big fan of this game, I’ve been playing for months now and of course it can get annoying that debris takes so much energy to remove and that energy takes a while to build up but other then that I saw no other problems until recently, for the past month whenever there has been a game pass side quest it will end before it says it’s going to end, and when you have spent money on the special passes so you can get the special reward at the end it makes me really upset cause I’ve just waited my money completely. Would love if this could get fixed!!

Spongebob Squarepants: In A Jam

Understandably, this is designed as a mobile game. It follows that same tradition as having energy be used to clear objects to create more empty spaces to build your “Bikini Bottom” - Now, that’s what this game mostly involves. If this hasn’t caught your interest yet. (Don’t Download)

If you’re actually thinking this sounds like fun… That’s great! It’s not for everyone. There’s limited time events on rotation that creates some automated competition. You will quickly notice that there isn’t much to offer in terms of progression. It has a similar gameplay style to HayDay. The similarities are there in the lowest sense of the word. Once you reach “Atlantis” - progression slows so much that it genuinely tries to persuade you to buy gems for your hard earned real currency. If you are able to withstand the tedious journey forwards. You may start to see that this game has many problems.

Do I recommend this game? I recommend to at least try it for 24 hours. I honestly don’t think you will have much fun other than seeing the mostly impressive visuals…

Great fun but expensive

I really love this game except it’s expensive and you have to be on 24/7 collecting things. I’ve spent well and truly way too much time and money on it and can’t manage the tasks you need to advance in the game. You run out of resources to do things too quickly. Needs more interactive ways to win things so you’re not just waiting around or spending hundreds of dollars.

Constantly having to get energy is just annoying

awesome game

super fun game, love the maps, animations, characters, graphics. there is a lot of variety in the game to keep it interesting. just wish energy was a bit easier to obtain. and it would be super cool if it had more community minded elements, such as the possibility to visit your friends bikini bottom town and help each other with things such as filling orders (like you can in township) and help clear areas and maybe gain energy/other rewards for that?

Costs too much energy to clear items!

I use to play this game every day, loved it!!! But since recent updates, or maybe higher levels? It costs way too much energy to clear any item. I only log on once a week/ fortnight now because it takes too long to clear items and progress

Response from developer

Hello! Thank you for your feedback. Energy points can be found in the game additionally. You can exchange energy in special machines, make spatulas, complete orders, etc. Our team will add even more possibilities to the game. So please stay tuned!

Energy is hard to get

Have been playing for a few weeks and am ready to give up! Despite there being machines to get more energy, you don't always get the things needed to rejuvenate and 200 cans still doesn't last long when everything is 30+ and the smaller energy units don't give much! Potential to be awesome but I my patience is wearing thin! Think i'll just got back to Monopoly... Monopoly dice last longer that energy on this game!!!

Frustrating

The game itself is so much fun, but prepare for frustration. It’s your typical game that you have to spend real money to progress well. And when you get farther in the game, things in the game become more expensive and more difficult. I figured SpongeBob has enough related to it to make billions, stop making us pay money for stupid things.

Updating my review by saying nobody has time to go on the game ever 50 minutes for the 50 energies you get. As you progress in the game, everything gets way more expensive in energy. I’ve been stuck on the same two pieces to collect for about 5 days now because of how much they cost. I understand making things harder in the game but not nearly impossible. Especially when metal is the most popular item to craft for the order board, and you’re spending over 300 energies on it to only get 4 pieces. I also catch myself spending almost a week on the little arcade game to get more energy. Everything that you craft takes mostly over an hour to make so since nobody has the time to check in on the game as often as they want, they’re still missing out on opportunities for all the little side games, and the characters popping up next to the order board. So yes, the more you play, the more energy you get. However, people do not have all the free time in the world to get all the energy. Which makes the game so frustrating and leads people to stop playing out of it being nearly impossible to complete.

Needs some TLC

Energy capacity is at 50 which is equivalent to 50 minutes to fill. No matter how many levels you progress it always stays at 50. You cannot edit your buildings or decorations, so if you placed an extra item on accident or happen to block a secret pathway with a building; you’re just screwed to deal with it. Harvesting resources (at least for free) will take you months to advance as each tiny piece of resource to harvest will require 20-80 energy to clear it. That’s means waiting up to an hour and a half to remove 1 single piece of rubble in your path which can be littered with about 40 items.

The game itself is beautifully well animated and exploding with references to the shows episodes. I’m absolutely obsessed with the show and have multiple tattoos of the characters, but this game is hard to endure and difficult to enjoy unless you’re willing to fork over hundreds of dollars to get any progress with it. Maybe I will redownload it once it has an update, but until then, I would suggest you save your time and heartbreak.

Love this game but a few things are incredibly frustrating

I love this game, I play it everyday, you could say I’m borderline obsessed with this game. It was fun at first but now that I’ve reached the chum bucket it’s getting incredibly difficult to find certain resources like CORAL, logs, and metal. Coral is the biggest shortcoming in this game even though you need it for many things! This needs to be reconsidered and fixed so the game is more enjoyable. Another thing that needs to be fixed is the lack of plant beds you can purchase. You’re only allotted a certain amount of plant beds at a time and can’t buy more until many levels later when we CLEARLY need more, why??! At this point I have to spend 2-3 days planting and farming before I can make other things or complete orders because of the lack of plant beds I’m allowed to have! I wish these things are corrected soon because if I continue to struggle to find coral I will eventually delete this game. It’s challenging and engaging and fun enough without the added stress of lack of resources! I am on the verge of deleting this game even though I really don’t want to!
