Enjoy but energy ruins it

As everyone else is saying - energy is the biggest factor in this game , I do enjoy it and it is a great concept of game but the energy is a problem just for it to be recharged only to 50…? Really. It takes to remove coral 30 of energy … that only one ? … and then wait again an hour ? 🥲🥲🥲 very very bad . Should be atleast 300 to do something nice and complete the tasks . I understand there is different ways to gain energy but when you don’t have these snacks or enough stuff to complete tasks / events ? You are just stuck with 50 for a while … atleast a week to do something . Please fix it , add more recharge energy or easier way to gain it back as it taking away the joy to play it .

Hello! Thank you for letting us know about your experience with our game. We're always looking for ways to improve and appreciate your feedback.

Wish there was a better way to rearrange buildings…

Got this game and have been actively playing for a week now and I got to Kelp City. It easy to progress through the different cities but be warned they do close after 48 hours once you leave. For energy, I wish it didn’t cap at 50 but you can hoard energy from orders, selling spatulas or minigames and the snack carts. I’ve been enjoying the limitations of the energy and farming capacity as it allows me to slow down and enjoy the game. The core of it is to restore Bikini Bottom by clearing the debris and redecorating the town, I just wish that there was a mass edit mode where you can enter in and rearrange quickly instead of pressing down on each asphalt tile or building or bench to move it one at a time. It just makes me not want to decorate but I’m powering through :(. Otherwise I enjoy the weekly challenges and I’m excited to continue to clean Bikini Bottom. A personal goal if you would say would be to clear bikini bottom and as much as I can in the other cities.

Ridiculous

Used to love the game, started playing during beta. Now the energy is like 180 to clear 1 piece of debris, my energy bar is at 196 max.. it takes hours for that to fill. You do the math with how long a gigantic map would take.. I also had saved around 24 spatulas and decided to use all the energy to see how much debris I could do with that and it was like 5-6 things cleared absolutely disgusting how the devs did us dirty here. I wrote to support and got a dumb response saying it will be more “rewarding”. Tf you mean rewarding? I ended up deleting the game so no it was not rewarding.

Also I read a previous review about how ridiculous the energy ratio is compared with what u can do with it and the devs response was that they took this into consideration and they did not. They made it worse. It’s been 4 months and I could not finish the last map and get my bear because everything was like 180 energy. Just straight up trying to get you to spend loads of money. Had you not done things this way I may have spent money but you guys did it in such a dumb and disrespectful way you don’t deserve jack all.

Better before update

I’ve just logged in after the latest update and it now costs me 140 energy to remove seaweed which was 35 energy earlier today? It is now unachievable. I was really happy with the game before this but this has take the fun out. Also, I have millions of dollars but not much to spend it on.

Time-expense game.

When you first start it can be very slow, but as you progress it allows you to produce more energy and it makes the game faster with more stuff to do. I’m a few worlds in and the game got a lot better. My only complaint is, you can’t go back to a world once you complete the quests inside. There isn't a lot of quests in a world either. You can easily pass through a world within a few days. I don’t see the point in having so many obstacles in a world if you only need to clear maybe 5% of them to complete everything. There’s no point in clearing all those extra obstacles so I just moved on, and then I can’t go back. If I could I would love to see the rest of the worlds and clear them all up. Hopefully the devs change this and allow us to travel to any world we’ve unlocked.

Everything is too expensive

The energy cost of everything is way too expensive and it’s too hard/takes too long to regenerate energy. The only real way to get a 100% completion on anything is to spend weeks and weeks on a single area and checking in every hour to use the measly 50 energy points you get or to spend actual money on energy, and the cost of purchasing the energy with real money also isn’t worth what you get out of it. When you get energy bonuses, it’s too easily spent. 500 energy points won’t even get you through a single path clearing task.

On top of that, so many changes have been made to the game to make it more expensive, including the coin exchange for selling the elephant bubbles. When I first downloaded the game the elephant bubbles were worth 2500 coins each and now they’re only worth 250 coins each. The game makers are so greedy!

This game would be a lot more fun if the energy cost/spend issue was resolved for area tasks and resource collection.

Energy

Messed up massively on the amount of energy needed to remove one item, I’d say an average is 40-70 to remove it so you do 1/2 actions then log back out, takes what 30 seconds to do this? It’s safe to say I’ve now deleted it as it’s not enjoyable logging in and out so often, the loading screen takes longer to pass than a quick mission tap. There’s no mini games as such and the shop quests uses your mission energy so you’d progress even slower it’s clearly aimed at kids just buying the gems for quick energy to enjoy this game. Good graphics but they should have made it like a sim city builder of bikini bottom.

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. The maximum cap of energy is not the only available in the game. The game was created to discover lots of possibilities in the game. Please contact us via the in-game support form (on the loading screen or in the game settings) and we will help you.

Can’t give 5 starts until some issues are fixed

I really enjoy this game. I downloaded it about two months ago because I love games like these. Even thought I do enjoy this game I do I have a few issues with it. First the energy is capped at 50. No matter how much you level up, the max stays at 50 which means if you have progressed far enough in the game, you have to use other resources to gain more energy. Second, the resources cost ENTIRELY TOO MUCH ENERGY TO HARVEST!!! Not only in bikini bottom are most of the resources cost too much energy, but as you progress through the map, the different locations energy costs skyrocket! I’m current on level 19 at chum bucket and I’ve barely made any progress on that map because for example the electrical wires cost 111 energy to harvest but the game Caps you at 50 energy. So if I can’t use the sugar squeeze cart, candy vending machine, create energy at the fry cook museum, have fences covered in jelly and have enough glue to repair it, or receive orders where the reward is not energy, I either have to wait days to hoard energy or I just don’t do the map location at all. I also feel like there should be more ways to earn diamonds for free. This game has so much potential but these issues are really hindering its success

Energy?

I have had the game for two days and literally cannot do anything. There is not enough “energy”. By the time I get 50/50 I can only smash one thing and then I have to wait hours for it to add up. It’s really frustrating. Other than that I do like that game but at this point it doesn’t even seem like it’s worth playing.

Update: as time goes on I’m able to find was to acquire energy but it is still difficult to make any progress. Also the app is a bit glitchy
