Needs Gamma Assist/LUT for A7Siii
The app works really well and is very responsive. My picture can lag, but I believe that this is probably interference from my video transmission system.
My only issue is the lack of Gamma assist or LUTs for the A7Siii in the app. I use this app mainly for my gimbal monitor and it’s hard to judge exposure in SLog3. I’ve seen that LUT control is in there for other cameras. Please give us LUT control or gamma assist for the A7Siii. I’m not sure why any SLOG3 capable cameras would be excluded from this functionality.

Inconsistent and unreliable for professionals
I rarely take time to write reviews, I’ve set and observed about this app from YouTubers over the last year. Anyone that recommends this is selling out it’s an absolute toss up whether you can actually connect and no one can rely on that professionally.
Doesn't work via USB
With A7R-V (firmware 3 of course), you can connect via wi-fi, which is laggy, but via USB it keeps asking permission to access Files and Folder, you grant permission, it asks again and again in loop. If you go the Privacy and Security tab in Settings, M&C is not there. I know it detects the camera because once I connect the USB cable and pick "Remote Shooting" in the list, the popup asking permission immediately shows up, but it doesn't matter, tapping ok keeps the app in this annoying loop. It's a promising app, but not there yet.

This App Could Be Great
So I’ve not used this app on set yet, but I plan to this coming week. I’ve spent the last few hours painstakingly trying to connect my A7siii and A7RV for multicam monitoring. One camer connected but the other wouldn’t.
This was despite completing firmware updates on both cameras, my iPad and the app itself. It turns out that you need to enable PC Remote on both cameras. I wish this was made clear, as not having this feature on means you won’t be able to connect the camera(s) to the app for multicam.
Once I got it going, I was able use the app as intended. If all goes well on my shoot then I will leave this update as is. If not, then I’ll come back and update accordingly.

Waiting for A7IV
Sony the photo in the App Store is the only reference I can find anywhere that shows the app is going to include the the A7IV at a later date, waiting patiently! Will there be firmware to support it ?
Where is the a6700 support?
Really? Missing support for a camera that is only 1 year old?

Glaringly Missing Feature: Audio meters
The functionality of the app for multi-cam control is fantastic considering it requires no extra hardware except an iPad.
However, multi-camera setup is extremely tedious and requires a router access point without an iPad with Cellular. Since Apple has removed the option to create ad-hoc networks, there’s no way to connect multiple cameras to an iPad without a cellular iPad or an external router.
Sony has added USB-C connection. This is fantastic for one camera. Resolution and speed is superb. However, USB-C only works with one camera at a time. Multi-Camera still does not work. If Sony would add the option to use a USB-C hub and connect multiple cameras, this app would be complete.
The tools like waveform and false color are adequate, but low resolution and blocky. Hopefully Sony will refine the exposure tools and add audio meters in a future update. Adding the ability to use USB-C hubs for Multicam would also be a huge update.

One more thing. The false colors and waveform are decent, but are low resolution. And, vertical flip is not an option. Hopefully Sony will refine the exposure tools in a future update.

We need support for more cameras!
I really like this app because its far more useful than creators app but you need to add support to more cameras. I have the sony a7iv for example.
It’s connects…. But
Would happily pay for this app if it was more stable.. it will connect but the multi-camera features will not, tried to re-install a few times and no luck.
I have had problems with this app in the past but my patience is getting thinner every time I open this
