Sneaky sales techniques and subscription
Immediately trying to manipulate using disingenuous sales techniques.
Doesn’t do much but pop up as you’re using a particular app with a message - that’s it.
Charges £60 for annual subscription which is scandalous.
As soon as you cancel will instantly offer a 60% discount.
The people who have paid £60 will feel ripped off, and , but they’re not meant to know anyway.
Those who take the 60% discount will be paying the intended price all along and think they’ve got a “deal” when they haven’t.
Avoid this app there are others that do the same but better and more and for a cheaper price.

Allow access to screen time
I really want to try the app but I am unable to link screen time access

Worked well at first
ETA: every few days I need to go into settings and disallow Wellspent from accessing Screen
Time and then allow it again and it will start working. Seems inconsistent, but is good when it works.

Wish I could love this …
I got the paid version for a full year thinking that would be well worth it to finally have assistance in kicking my social media addiction, but I’m a few months in and I’m lucky if the app works for a full day at a time.
It either crashes in the background and stops working completely (this is the most frequent issue), or glitches and totally locks me out of everything with no option to bypass and I have to go turn it off and back on again through phone settings.
I hope they can work out the bugs - I did reach out by message in the app support and was told they were working on the glitches. That was a month or so ago though and so far no improvement.

The app is ok
1. The time counter would only randomly work at the background. Most of the times I need to open the app itself and wait for the time pie chart to get updated with the usage. This is very unhelpful when doomscrolling;(
2. My restriction is on social media apps. It is not unusual for them to be blocked in the morning without me actually opening any social media. I can’t understand the logic or what triggers this blockage if social media usage was 0% for that day
3. It’d be great if the app stored some stats and provide an overview of the daily usage. Like 2 hrs spent on Tuesday, 5 hours on Wednesday.
