  • Asks for password WiFi and uses BT at the same time

    It’s very confusing, in the product description it says it has Bluetooth but then when you download and install the app it forces you to give them your WiFi password. If you change your router there is no option to re register the new router, at least not that I can find one in the confusing interface. You have to signe out and reinstall then register everything again.

    The app also doesn’t update in your other devices when a switch has been turned off or on. I.e. you turn a switch off in your tablet and it still show as switch on in your other devices.

    We thank you for your report and all the points given as feedback for the app. Currently there is a way to change the devices from one router to another in mass by marking them all and changing the network they need to connect to in both name and password. however this should be done while you still have connection to your old router. The connectivity of the app on your devices may be a bug, on which we recommend contacting support, as the account should be the same and thus all devices should be seeing the same status of the devices, if a device is on, on one device, it should be shown as such on all your devices with the same account.   • Requires you to make an account

    I bought shelly because its products and app did NOT require cloud anything. Now you replaced your old app with a "Shelly Experience". Well this "experience" of having to make an account with some online service is not what I bought your devices for. Shelly, you now get to "experience" this customer leaving... -10 stars if I could.

You can login in this app with the account you have previously used with the old app and use your devices locally as you did before. There's no change in this functionality.   • Live this app

    This works great! I like having American IOT products, no network shenanigans and clearly written instructions. Devices do exactly what they need to do and are very practical.

  • Update broke the app

    Please fix this. It now takes like 30 seconds to turn my Shelly on. And the widgets don’t work at all

  • Does not work

    I am unable to sign in or sign up for the app. When I try to login to the app it says wrong password. I reset my password and the same thing happened again. So I try to sign up with the same email address and it says email address is already registered. I used the old app for years and never had this problem.

  • Horrible

    Deprecating the old app without fixing the new app was a horrible decision and bringing me closer and closer to replacing all of my Shelly devices.

  • Unable to create account

    Just purchased a blu button and us plug. Unable to connect the button to the plug as this app will not let me sign up for a new account. I enter my email address and password, then select ‘Sign Up’, then the app doesn’t do anything. I will have to return the devices.

  • Please bring back the larger Shelly icons

    Don’t get me wrong. I love the Shelly platform and hate to give it anything other than 5 stars. I have one major problem though with the updated app. We have always been able to upload our own photos to use as the icon for each of our Shelly devices. If a Shelly controls a gate i used a picture of a gate and so on. The old app placed those pictures in large square (which most pictures are) icons which were large enough to tell what the picture was. The new app crops any picture you upload into a small circle which makes the icon unrecognizable. Please consider bringing the square icons back. Maybe you could just radius the corners a bit for a more modern look if that is what you are after.
    Update 02/16/24: I have been using the new app for a couple months now and it is so much slower to load than the old version. I’m sure Shelly had reasons for forcing users to use the new version but it was a step backwards in usability.
