  • Verbs doesn’t work

I downloaded their app just a few minutes ago filled out all information requested. After filling out all information requested first time kicked out or dropped never got confirming txt(both email and phone number works I use them everyday). Tried two more times same thing. Deleted app. Went to their website to resolve the problem was not able to. Got noticed that I have to reload page not once but twice then turned phone off and started over same thing. What’s up with that?
  • Great idea, no way to try it

So I heard it was a good app to highlight how a company invests the money you are giving them by buying their product. Sounded interesting. However, you can't even access the app without giving a valid mobile number AND valid email. No way. No app needs both unless they are also selling my info on the side. Maybe if they change their policies, I'll re-download and actually be able to give it a try, but with no free trial and no ability to even see what the app has without signing away all your info, forget it.
  • Excellent app for everyone

It’s not partisan but it does let you pick your values and gives a reasonable score on how products match up whether you are a commitard or ultra maga.

It could use a few more value pack options as well as more favorite stores like wegmans and tractor supply but this is a new app.

The scores so far actually line up with my own research on these various companies because I do not want to support people that hate me. This is a good tool for that.

This app could be so much better if you didn’t have to put in email or phone numbers, we all know what’s coming once that happens. Spam from hello and telemarketing calls all day and night.!!! Show me a app that doesn’t need your personal information and i will show you a blank page.!!

Jdblack, Our privacy policy states we will Not share or sell user phone/email information. Even though we stand by it, early users are raising the same concern as you. We hear you. In our next version, since we only need one (phone or email) for authentication, we are going to change the signup process to require only one. The bottom line is the Veebs business model is about aligning our product with our users, and not have the users "become the product". We hope you'll give Veebs another try and reconsider your rating. Thanks for the feedback. Use code '1776' for a free 30-Day trial.
  • Someone else will do this idea better and this app will go extinct

Subscription plans for a service that can be monetized in several other ways that would appear to be free for the consumer? Nope. Instead? Let’s charge a subscription fee. Someone stop me if you’ve seen this model fail before and you don’t need this pointed out! The app also hides behind vagueness in its rating scales. At some point, a solid service like this will be free to use for consumers, and it will link SPECIFIC work agenda stories/facts, summarize the companies record on a myriad of issues, and provide the positives and negatives that are associated with the company and products.

If we monetize user data then the user has "become the product". The intense research and development is the product, and we intend on delivering more and more value to our users as we build out the app. That is our proposition. We hope you'll reconsider your rating, and give it a try with code '1776' for a Free 30 Day trial of the premium functions. (The shopping list feature is very cool and that is not behind a paywall, nor is Parent company ownership identification)
  • Great idea!!!

LOVE THIS IDEA buuuuuut I’m not willing to give up BOTH my phone number & email. I have less issue with giving up my email, but with companies like FaceBook “sharing” info I’m just not comfortable giving that, mainly my phone number, to a company. Especially since I live in a state that doesn’t align with my values.
Maybe make a payment option for those who don’t like to share our number with sites. We pay $2 through the apple app to skip it.

  • Needs a trial version quickly

If the creators of this app want to capitalize/get more money they really need to put a free 7-14 day trial version to help customers decide if the app is good for them or not. I was ready to get a subscription but seeing how i cant see what the app does…..how can the creators expect me to throw money at the screen?

    Developer Response

Ambient, we do have a free trial!! Use special activation code '1776' during the signup process for a free 30-Day trial of the premium functions. If you have any trouble or already created a profile, message us via the 'Contact Veebs' function in the Account settings and we will take care of it. We hope you'll reconsider your rating once we get this resolved for you!
  • Needs development

It’s a cool idea, but very few of the items I scanned were in the database. It’s got the major brands but most of us already know what kind of values of the largest corporations. I’ll sign up again when there is more of a database available.
  • So bad

App functionality is garbage. UI is clunky. Many big brands don’t even scan and you have to manually add them. The manual adding feature hardly works to begin with. You can’t even view the values scores without a paid subscription. Don’t even waste your time on this juvenile attempt at an app.
  • Great app!

Great app. Didn’t know about how many bad products I was buying but know I can buy the good ones!
