Two factor authentication?
Why would you require two factor authentication for an app like this? I understand you want to know the person contributing to your data is real and not a bot farming impressions to make a liberal product appear more conservative and vice versa. But you need to make a version of this app that just requires an email address and restricts that account’s ability to update certain brand’s status. Two factor authentication for a free app screams data farm… especially when primarily touted by conservative circlesAnonymous 11-5

Two factor authentication is a check in case a user incorrectly enters their phone number (email is the backup), and ensures that the user receives an Activation Code so they can complete the signup process. Our data policy (www.veebsapp.com/privacy-policy) is clear that we do not sell or share user phone/email information.Pay pay pay
Sadly it’s all set up to harvest emails and phone numbers and force you to pay to use it. I might have tolerated a pay to use but there is no good reason to give up my email and phone number too.OneFatGuy
Account activation bug
When I try to sign up the app repeatedly tells me to input a valid mobile number -while sending an activation code to my valid mobile number. Can’t get past this.Bryan K646

We ran our first marketing campaign, and the viral response to the video caused a web/app service to hit a rate limit as if the app was being hacked, causing it to shut down. This resulted in users not being able to sign up for a period of hours. We apologize for this, and set affected users up with Free trials of the premium functions.
