Netvue service is bad
Recently I started being unable to access my Orb cameras feed remotely. When I’m on WiFi they load immediately in the app, but when I am at work I get “Error loading”. Netvue service tells me to reboot cameras and router which I already did, but have no fix beyond that. They asked me to download the new Netvue app too and enable precise location for whatever reason. Since nothing has changed on my end, the issue must be on Netvue end but they do not take responsibility.
The new Netvue Next app is cluttered and not user friendly. Instead of taking me to the list of cameras it takes me to a cluttered screen and now I have to take an extra step to get to the camera feed. There is a saying “Don’t fix it if it ain’t broken”.
Netvue should concentrate their productive energy on ensuring the service works well rather than on redesigning the app that everyone has gotten used to and adding questionable “improvements”

Bamboo Feeder Review
The Netvue app supports rapid identification of my birds as they approach the feeder. The pictures and videos are clear. This app is a must have if you purchase any Netvue feeder. My only recommendation is to continue refining the AI identification as sometimes it is not completely accurate. Otherwise a great app!

Netvue Next app
This is my preferred app to use with my Birdfy cameras. It’s easy to use and seems more stable then some of the other apps for the Birdfy cameras. One change that I would like to see is a way to step through the events , as opposed to having to open each individually. If there is a way to do that I haven’t figured it out. But all in all a decent product.

Not as good as the previous app
The Netvue Next app is not as good as the previous version. This version will pickup motion when a vehicle goes by and then label random objects as human or pets. It is not reliable , so I don’t even check it when I get notifications. For instance, a car went by and it notified me that a human was here. Turns out the human was a bird feeder. It will also just send notifications of motion and label my car that is parked. The previous version was a lot more accurate. I like the features on this app but the AI needs more work. I’m tired of the notifications for meaningless stationary objects. Please work on the AI. I pay for 2 subscriptions including AI and it is no longer worth it.

Super functional!!
This is the 3rd camera I have purchased and I love it. I am not a fan of technology at all and anyone could install these cameras. The image quality is very good and it accurately detects any movement, although it could be annoying for others, I find it too useful when I am away from home, plus I have the option to record videos when I require it with the updated application. Recently my pet got sick and since I couldn't spend the whole day with him, I kept an eye on the app checking that my husband didn't forget to give him his medicine. 🤗

App functions poorly
Doesn’t really work. Can’t view baby cam on my iPhone. Barcode doesn’t scan. Wish I didn’t buy this
User friendly interface
Simple to use. Seems to be much smoother and faster than previous version. Lots of options to play about with. Vigil Plus 2 light & siren features can be controlled remotely via the app which is very handy. I have added my other camera, now I can view both cameras on the same app. Does not seem to allow video playback on the timeline, app keeps crashing.

Netvue user of new app
I have had a Netvue camera for around 12 months outside the house. I had used the old app for all that time. I love the fact that I can set a sensitivity level and the easy way it is to view notifications makes the app worth while. I have recently gotten a vigil plus 2 (battery operated). Setting it up was exactly the same as my old camera, so just as easy the 2nd time. I have noticed the connectivity to the Vigil 2 can take longer than before. But I have no problems with this new user interface.

Great App to control the NetVue Cameras
I have two Netvue cameras and this app is great to control and for the settings.

Reliable
I think the UI is easy to navigate, though I have experience with a previous product from this brand, so I am used to it. The device itself (Vigil Plus 2) is easy to set up and comes with clear instructions. Only a 4/5 because the app doesn’t always connect to the camera right away, but closing the app and restarting it seems to resolve this.
