In a nutshell, you're not getting any magical features such as keylogging or automatic facing camera capture when someone logs in without face ID.
The only way it works is by first opening the app and then proceeding to the photo capture screen and locking the phone. No magic sauce here.McQuoidellum

The Clario app is mostly a step-by-step guide of going through a checklist of your settings to make sure your security and privacy settings are set the way you would like them for your personal preference. Their step-by-step guide is very detailed and good, especially for people who are not tech-savvy, and I’m sure it does help a lot of people find things within their settings which may be of concern.
The other marketed feature which draws people; the Unlock Catcher (unlock recorder tool), where the app helps detect somebody physically attempting to unlock your device and takes a photo of them, is good BUT you have to keep the app open and physically activate this feature each time right before you lock your phone for it to be active which can be inconvenient.
The other feature which help find leaked passwords is essentially providing you with a third-party website to see if you’re email and password has been leaked, it seems to be reliable and works well.
I personally feel a little mislead by some of Clario’s marketing but I believe the app will benefit those looking to take care of the privacy settings, and those looking to catch someone out from attempting to access their phone with regard to the Unlock Catcher.Show lesslewishalket
