new app doesn’t work on launch, bad rebrand IMO

It’s launch night and the new app will not let me sign in. I’m using the same credentials that still work in the original HBO Max app. Why did they have to release a new app anyway? Couldn’t the old one just have been updated? It would have made things a lot easier for the customers and fans of HBO.

I wasn’t thrilled to hear HBO Max was being rebranded to Max. Everyone knows what HBO is, what is Max??
