Going solo is an AMAZING app. It connects you to other solo travelers from all around the world and for only $4, gives you a Tinder-like platform to like/dislike other travelers, message them, and even follow them on instagram. Good idea, poor execution
This idea is really good, as it addresses a problem that many solo travelers face — we want to meet other travelers and it can be hard to meet people as a solo traveler, especially people who maybe don’t like or feel too old for party hostels to meet people. However, this app is clearly unfinished, and paying for the app did not improve my experience with searching for other travelers. I’m glad that there’s finally an app for solo travelers, but the user experience needs to be refined to be worth paying any money for it.mountainman415
