Needs fixing and improving
It’s Ok but still doesn’t refresh artwork whilst I’m playing different singles on a currently playing playlist. It just keeps displaying the artwork from the track before even though the text etc is updated. Sometimes the new artwork is displayed for each new track played in a playlist but sometimes it lags and sticks until I close and reopen the app. It gets frustrating constantly closing the app just to bring up correct artwork in a singles playlist, it would be quite good otherwise. I also hope for future full access to track metadata from my iPad etc in the app? Really, with the forced change to Apple Music too for Mac users this app especially needs an update

Keyboard function stopped working on older models. Easier to use original remote
A bit buggy
I love being able to play music directly from my iTunes library (opens up access to my entire library saves battery on my phone) but the remote app often looses connection with the library and I have to go to the computer, quit iTunes and run it again, which kind of defeats the purpose of the remote app.

I love this app for listening to my demo’s from my phone through my KRK rokit 5 speakers because I make music.
Also listening to other apple music songs & downloaded songs stored on my macbook pro.
Its a shame iTunes has been discontinued really, I’ll stay on Mac OS Mojave for as long as I can because of it. This app won’t be useable probably after I update my Mac OS.

Unreliable Watch app
After Catalina, I waited a long time for the return of Remote support. While it finally works on iPhone, I can’t it to work properly on my watch. It shows my Mac library in the list, but after connecting, nada. I‘ve read all the help files, researched it to no end, removed/re-installed/re-added more times than I can count, with no luck.
Feature request: Instead or fixing Remote, it would be even better if the remote functionality with my Mac could be incorporated into the Now Playing watch app – it would save so many steps and be much easier! (Bc honestly, using Remote app to control Mac Music app is really clunky and slow as it is anyway, with so many taps and waiting between taps to get to a simple music control like adjusting volume or skipping to the next track.) It really doesn’t make sense that Watch integration is only right with iOS and not my Mac too.

Fantastic little controller... with one suggestion
This is by far the most effective way to control music on a large downloaded library in a home theater or dedicated listening area from afar. Reliable, packed with features, and is simple to set up.
One suggestion, though... Can you let us look up Apple Music searches through this app? It currently is library only, and while that does include Apple Music downloads and streaming, you can’t look for new searches without going to iTunes on your PC. You can play/pause once they’re going, you just manually have to search on iTunes.
Please add this to the app!

Needs Apple Music Support and Add to Library / Love ❤️
To be fair Remote is in a better state now than I ever remember it. I have yet to encounter a bug. And the dark mode is lovely (if a little late 😉) so thanks for that dudes!
I just find myself using it less if I want to search Apple Music (which is often) I can start playing New Music tracks from the desktop but if I come across something I like there is no way to add to Library or Love the tracks
