I agree, you must add basic molecules like water and octane
i got the same problem
me too the one i looked for some of the downloads of the molecules were not show up on the display not useful.

Great little app for teachers and students but would be much improved by the addition of 'ribbon view' to show secondary structure.

This app used to be great, and very useful for my high school chem class. Now it's pretty much worthless. Type in "water" and you get about 10 obscure chemicals but NOT water! What happened?
Depth view?
Great app. Only wish it had a 'depth view' that added a simple atmospheric effect to more easily view dense clusters (things further away get cloudier/more localized to color of BG). That's being very picky. Still a great app.
Almost perfect.
I just wish you could:
1. Make your own molecules.
2. Have some way to tell which elements are which.

Great, but...
If you're getting for undergrad/grad level bio it's great. But it's only bio molecules, inorganic chemists won't find anything useful. Only proteins and such.
