Very Functional and Easy to use
I bought and downloaded this on the way to do weekly shopping in place of my sick wife. Creating a new list from her scribbled notes, adding in weekly specials from the store paper, editing prices and per units, and checking items off as I added them to the cart was very easy. Basically soup to nuts (sorry bad pun) for anyone needing a great grocery list app. Lots of backend support and help files, easily explained with a great user interface.

All in all, a great app!
I went through most of the other apps before I got this one, simply because from the screen shots it didn't seem that great. However I realized it has everything I need and is extreemly customizable.
The support is also very good, my questions were answers very quickly and in detail.

Really Good App
One of the reasons I got the iPhone was to consolidate the number of things I had to carry with me to be efficient. And with three guys in the house, I'm running to the store quite a bit -- needing a grocery list every time. This little gem does the trick quite well.
I STRONGLY agree with the suggestions that adding an adjustable price calculator/monitor that would immediately add the cost of my list and/or keep a running total while I'm shopping would be a welcome update. I don't have to have everything down to the penny when I check out, but it'd be nice to at least have a ballpark figure.
If you're planning on buying this app, be prepared to spend a little time at first entering items into the database to customize your list.

Perfect
Everything is customizable and intuitive to use. You can sort the lists all on one screen, by different section or store, you can customize everything about each specific item. It's easy to cross off each item and hide whole store categories while shopping. Although they have a database of suggested foods, you can input anything you want as well as any store you want. I've used it to make lists for non-grocery items at non-grocery stores. The flexibility is just what I need, since I don't buy the massive quantities of name brand junk featured in the other grocery program.

Perfect app for the type A shopper
The two best features of this app: the ability to modify the store section names (I use aisle numbers of my favorite store) and customized views (ex: each item's quantity, aisle number, and description at a glance). I do not use the store feature -- haven't figured out how to make it work when you're at Trader Joe's and two items are exclusive to the store while many other items (like milk) are not, but I understand the appeal. Also, excellent customer support -- exceeded my expectations. Terrific app.

This grocery app is just what I need. Simple and easy. I like that you customize everything. From store name to items that you can add. It already has a huge inventory of items in it's dictionary. And being inexpensive too. This was worth it!

Almost perfect
This app is fantastic. The only little bug I see is that the order of the items to sort are not saved when change is made. Also, it would be nice if there was a toggle button on the screen to take away all sorts so you can search for something and then go back to the default search. Lastly it would be nice if you could but the alphabet on the side so you can quickly go to the first letter just like the contacts has. These are tweaks but I have it set so that each item knows the isle it is on so when I go to the food store i know exactly what to get in each isle. It makes shopping a breeze! Thanks!

Excellent grocery list app at a great price!
Having just got back from a quick trip to King Soopers, I can wholeheartedly say this is a great grocery list app. I love the customizable dictionary and how it organizes the items by the section of the store. Adding food items is a breeze and the built in dictionary does an admirable job. Things I couldn't find were easily added and reusable for later! It's certainly way better than trying to do a grocery list with notes (as some haters have suggested). So to sum up, a great app with a great price. Highly recommended!

Streamline your shopping!!
I used to walk the store five times to get everything I went for and still managed to forget things. LOL! Not anymore. This app is great and it can do so much more than just groceries! I added the hardware store, so I can remember things there to! Great for any shopping list! It even works in landscape! You can add any store, section, and item you need! Very nicely designed app! You need this one! A++!

Great grocery list app
I tried a few other grocery apps, and none compare. Ontomni's Grocery List is so easy to use. Adding or removing items, sections or stores from the dictionaries is a piece of cake. The list is easy to populate, and it is easy to check things off as I am in the store. I thought I wanted something that could hide items once they are checked off, but really that is not a big deal if organizing by section. I can simply collapse the section once everything from that area is in the cart, and open up the next area. This is a great app and is a huge help for grocery shopping.
