Confusing/unintuitive and annoying UI
I bought this app because it was decently well reviewed and it was cheaper than Grocery IQ. Well, I decided very quickly that Grocery IQ is worth the extra money. I have no patience for iphone apps that are non-intuitive. I spent 30 seconds trying to figure out how to just clear the grocery list (there was some preset junk in there). Every time I would try to delete an item it would open the item up. I found myself reading through the help, which just seems silly for a grocery list application. In my mind a grocery list should be blatantly simple. I don't even know what "Groups" or "Group attributes" are, but I don't think I need them. I sucked it up and bought Grocery IQ and it was extremely easy to use; and easily worth the extra few bucks.

Great app! Very intuitive & visually slick (+ Bug report)
I can echo all the great comments aboveβthis is one great app for the iPhone. I'll be using it every day now for not just my groceries, but anything I need to buy at Home Depot or Petsmart (or anywhere else, really).
I found one bug: Under the sub-tabs (Dictionaries --> Grocery Stores --> Edit [button] --> The middle green icon (with multiple pages and a pencil) at the top crashes the app.
Otherwise, great app!!! Keep improving on it!!

great app with good functionality
I tried out a bunch of free list-making apps but was dissatisfied, so I decided to buy this one. So far, I'm very impressed. It's intuitive, works smoothly, and has just the right amount of features--everything I need (at least thus far), but not so much it's complicated to use. I love that you can view items by store, etc. and the fact that it has a library of items already included. Adding items is very quick.
I did discover one tiny bug: when I reorder items within a category, they tend to revert to their original default order when I leave that screen to add detail to another item, for example. This hasn't been a huge issue for me so far, though. (Interestingly, the default order within each category is reverse alphabetical.) Overall, this app will make grocery shopping much easier to manage.

a very helpful app
I've used this for about a week now, on about 3 different shopping trips. Overall, I really like this app, for me it replaces a written shopping list. Plus I have terrible handwriting so this helps a lot. The other great thing is its always on you (assuming you keep your phone with you), so if you remember something while you are out it is very easy to add it to your list. My only complaints are that I would like to create a separate list for two or more stores and I would like an easy way to clear out a list after shopping. I would still highly recommend this app.

Easy to use
It's very well designed and easy to use. I was using "Shopping List" which I liked a lot, but the recent update erased all the items and products that I had to enter one by one. This one has most of the items, sections, and shops already in its dictionary, and requries minimum effort to setup and customise. I also like its quantity function. Thank you.

Does the job perfectly!
Great little App. The dictionaries for auto complete are great, adding custom items is sweet. Crashed on me once or twice when setting up lists, but no biggie. Would really love the ability to create saved Grocery Lists. I have a weekly list I use, but then there's the monthly lists which are a little larger. Also would love it if I could share my lists somehow with my girlfriend (via bluetooth maybe?) so she doesn't have to take me to the grocery store everytime!

Good App but Change Name
I chose this app from all similar ones because it allows you to categorize by store but your store selections are not limited to grocery stores, i.e. you can add Hardware Store, Home Depot, Nurseries, etc. Suggest you call it Shopping Lists by Store or something like that and you may reach more users. I even have a catagory for "Evacuation" and another for "In Freezer". Of course you have to enter some of your own items but that's OK.

My Favorite Grocery App
This is a great grocery list app. It doesn't try to be more than it needs to be, so it's very easy to use. Graphically, it is really pleasing to look at, with nice understandable icons and good use of color. The interface is really well-thought out and having the built in dictionary of items and measurements is a real time saver. Also, the ability to add items to those dictionaries is also great. I'm really happy with this app, and the price is great. HIGHLY recommended.

Great app & easy to use
This is a great app. Best features: putting items by section (or store for when I shop weekly ads), abilty to easily cross items off and the pre-loaded features. Worth the cheap price and WAY better than notes as it functions for a grocery store and keeps me organized. Compared to several others out there this does all they do, with an easier interface and price is great. Definetly recommend!

Works Fantastically
This application does exactly what it says. It allows you to quickly and easily set up grocery lists. It comes with a huge dictionary already installed and you can customize any part of it, from adding new items and units to changing them to whatever you would like. Any products you type are automatically added for next time. It looks fantastic, clean, and modern. In fact, it looks and feels like one of the native apps from Apple. It can't be beat for the price. Highly recommended.
If any of the developers read this, I have a future update suggestion although I don't know how easy it would be to implement. I would love if the app was able to use your current location in some way. Say I added Target as one of my stores. The app could locate me and then tell me where the closest Target was. This could also work with categories, such as simply knowing the closest grocery store or pharmacy. Going beyond that, what if the app could look up store hours for you or even look up prices or inventory at a store that allows online availability searches. These could help move the app beyond just being incredibly useful to being a killer app.
