Works like a charm
Could really only use some minor tweaks but all in all an excellent app! I saw a complaint about the airport directions, but if you look at the map, the AirTrain from JFK connects to Howard Beach (subway only lines) and Jamaica Station (subway and LIRR) and there are tons of signs explaining what to do. LaGuardia is more complicated because of the buses and no direct rail link to the airport, but similarly, there are tons of signs and information kiosks to help - so all you have to do is zoom in to see where the airport bus shuttle connection stations are and get to them. I think that the reason they left out the directions from the connecting Stations to the airports is that you'd need to know which terminal your airline is located in to get specific directions, and that changes quite frequently sometimes. Personally, I don't think it's enough of a reason to give the app a 1-star rating because I've been using KickMap NYC for years now and I've only seen the app get better and more reliable.

it simply works
been using this app for years and it’s still one of most useful subway apps I have. it’s great that it’ll load offline (when you don’t have a good signal!) and they’ve been adding features that might it more current and helpful
A must for NYC subway travelers
I have had this app for about 3 years. I absolutely love it. It works great and is an invaluable aid for navigating the NYC subway system, which is a great way to get around New York. Even the train times are spot-on. If you live in New York or are just an occasional visitor (like myself) you really should get this app. Thank you KICK Design!

Better than the subway map
Better than the subway map. Updates to real changes and I like that the neighborhoods are added on.
This app is great
I’ve been using it since my first iPhone actually when I was in high school to a decade later. I’ve put my friends and family onto it. Would recommend!
Good interface, doesn’t track MTA changes.
Map shows many lines running at night when they are in fact all shut down (May 7, 2020).
