There are many great sudoku games available, what sets this game apart, is that it can teach you to be a better sudoku solver...
When asking for a "clue", you can choose to have a value given to you, see if there are errors in what you have filled in so far, or (my personal favorite), to be "walked through" the process of finding a value, or eliminating pencil marks. This teaches you to be a better sudoku player, and ultimately raises your playing ability!!
When I started playing a couple years ago I couldn't get above the moderate level (6 out of 13). Now I'm doing Fiendish puzzles (level 11) without clues, and I'm working through solution methods for level 12 (Diabolical). I hope to master the Nightmare (level13) puzzles by the end of the year...

Great Sudoku app
This app is extremely well done, easy to use, and great fun. Puzzles are rated by complexity of the patterns needed to solve them. There is a comprehensive tutorial showing each pattern and how to apply it. Any time you need help, the hint system is available to give either a subtle hint or upgrade the hint to a full description of what you are missing. Also, there are many styles of play available from no help to solving everything automatically but the challenges.

Great brain exercise
I really enjoy this app. I spend hours and hours on it, in between whatever I'm doing. I prefer this as a brain exercise. It's fun and challenging. My only feedback: the tutorials don't always make sense, so it's sometimes difficult to progress to more advanced levels as a result. You can always google for other resources, but if this is going to be a 5-star app, it should do a better job in this category. I would also have a sound option that plays a chime or something when you complete a puzzle. That would be fun 😊

Well designed game
I've been playing Sudoku+ for years now, says it all. Tried others and came back to this one. Intuitive structure, easy to get into and enough levels to hit the wall. Perfect.
Pretty good app
Really good and simple to use. Of all the apps on my iPhone this is the one I use the most.
Totally addictive if you like solving logic problems.
Has some nice features like the ability to mute the screen if you're using it without ambient lighting. And if there is no internet connection it creates a puzzle got you.

Love it.
Hardest sudoku I've ever done, and I've learnt heaps of new techniques. Highly addictive, highly recommend. The interface is the best I've ever seen. Gold standard.
Superb app
This is EXACTLY what I wanted. The way the app presents hints is graduated perfectly to give a little hint first, then more info if the first hint is not enough, and so on down to showing the final candidate or pencil erasure. This makes the app the perfect teaching tool. Also the built in tutorials and lessons are excellent. I will not even look at any other Sudoku apps. This is just about perfect, and I am using it on iPhone.
