Server issues resolved.
Since a couple days ago the server has slowed down. It takes forever to get a new puzzle downloaded. You also no longer see your stats when you complete a puzzle. The website is completely gone. I think this long loved app just died and it makes me sad. I’ll update this review and rating if things start working again.

Excellent implementation
This is a superior implementation of sudoku, and very much worthwhile. The user interface is clearly the product of thoughtful considerations. The app is rich in features with many options in level and style of play.
The tutorial and progressive hint capabilities facilitate real opportunities for learning and improvement.
With a series of new puzzles daily and access to unlimited play you can get your fill of sudoku whatever that may be.
My only wish list item is to be able to create multiple bookmark points and be able to choose to which to return. If the game had this feature then it would be a solid 5 star.

The best Sudoku app!
This app is the best sudoku app I’ve found, it’s simple and easy to use, and has excellent help functionality to guide the user through the problem. My favourite part is the way that the hints are presented in stages, first a more vague “consider the number 5” or “ponder column 3” so you can figure it out yourself, then more details if that first hint isn’t enough. Highly recommended!!!

Highly recommend
I tried several Sudoku apps before I found this one. Love it! My favorite thing about this app is that it really helps you learn along the way. The hints can be as simple as a suggestion but you can also link to additional information that teaches you new concepts. I also appreciate the ability to turn various information on & off. For example, I realized that focusing on beating my best time was distracting me from taking the time I needed to learn new concepts & advance to more difficult levels. Turning off visibility to the timer helped improve my learning.

‘Scan From Camera’ now not working after update
Most of the positive reviews are from a previous version when scan from camera worked. In the latest version, scan from camera (the reason I bought this app) does not work. When I complained I was told that I could still put the data in manually! So false advertising. I have switched to the Sudoku Joy app which is fully functional.

I love this app. There are no commercials. It can help you improve in your skills by adjusting the settings. This is my favourite app.
Completely addictive
Having just reviewed the statistics page I see that I have played 2944 games! (So far!) It’s got to be good to command that level of attention. However good or bad you are, there’s a level that will give you the right amount of challenge and enough games that IF they are repeated you’ll never notice
