Great app
:)Sudoku+. Grabs the puzzle from daily paper accurately. I use this app every day. I think that makes it one of my three most used apps alongside the newspaper apps. Some days I just don’t have the patience and this will let me race through by correcting mistakes (although I know that is a cheat). On the rare day when I am really stuck, and even pencil numbers aren’t helping, Sudoku+ can give specific hints. Best the hints are not answers per se, rather there is a series (you can ask for a hint and if you are still stuck, ask for another, and another and another) of training ‘tips’.

Intuitive and well maintained
I’ve played this game for years. It’s still challenging, and it’s robust — never hangs or crashes. When I’ve shared it with others, they find it easy to play and engrossing. Excellent game.
Superb!
This really is an amazing, dare I say, flawless app that hits and surpasses every expectation for this great puzzle game. There are numerous features for almost every desired preference for how to approach this game, including numerous levels of difficulty (each difficulty has its own unique name and has a consistent level of difficulty that requires its own respective techniques to complete, intuitive to the user’s level of proficiency), pencil mark features (auto-pencil is a life-saver that helps with rapidly gaining skill with more challenging puzzles), undo, and hint features. Bravo, you’ve made the perfect app.

The best sudoku app
I have tried a lot of sudoku apps and this one is the best in my opinion. The number of difficult levels is great, the variety of input methods is good. I really like the adding a puzzle from the camera and that you can manually input one too.
My one request would be that you could colour individual squares as a means of keeping a note of some combinations - I haven’t seen it on any other app so I don’t know if it’s possible but I do use that feature a lot on my pc sudoku and would make this already great app, even better.

Fun to play, even better as a learning resource
I’ve owned and played over multiple years. There was a bit of a blank where I didn’t play for a long long time, and then hesitated to start again because I knew I had forgotten all of the intermediate level techniques and didn’t want to get frustrated. Well guess what, relearning with this app was just as fun and easy as the first time around.
I see the app hasn’t been updated in a while. I don’t need any enhancements or bug fixes, but I do hope that the next iOS change mandating upgrades doesn’t signal the end of this long running favorite.

Fmay
I have developed my skills using this game. I now mostly use without small numbers which I could not do before. Only possible downfall I now find it hard to fill newspaper puzzles as am used to highlighting! I generally enter puzzle onto iPad which works well.
Good but some flaws
This is a really fantastic sudoku app, and I use it pretty much daily. However, the developer no longer supports it.
One major issue that has cropped up is that it frequently serves puzzles that are one or two grades above what you choose. So choose “mild”, and you’re dealing with an “intricate” puzzle. It’s not consistent, though. And what’s worse is that there’s no indication this has happened until you find yourself stumped on what should be a puzzle that requires no advanced moves.
Beyond that, the “best” time displayed will change pretty constantly while you’re playing a puzzle, so you won’t know what your actual record is until you beat it. And just a complaint, the “lessons” for advanced moves, etc., are incomprehensible. You could have just sat on a keyboard and created clearer instructions than what’s there.

When in landscape mode cannot see buttons
Great app but unfortunately when in landscape mode I cannot see all the buttons. Is there something I can do to fix this? Maybe just a fault in the app. I’m using an iPad Pro
Best Sudoku training game ever
I rarely write reviews but this game deserves one. I've tried lots of others in the app store just to get some variety but this is the best one, hands down. The range of difficulty is amazing, I can dial in exactly how hard I want it to be - some patterns are too hard or time consuming for my preference so I can dial it down but still keep it challenging. The tutorials are excellent, the way it compares your time against other players is great, and the puzzles themselves are top-notch. Can't say enough good things about this game. If I had to find an area of improvement it would be the graphics - they're functional but not as nice as some other games out there. But they're not too bad and there are some customization options which are nice. Great game and kudos to the developers!

Still the best...
I’ve written several reviews for this Sudoku app. If you want to improve this is the one to get.
