Checking support now....

Pro: Interface is intuitive, doesn't crash after update. Con: Won't load my data. I'm waiting for an email from support.

Very useful

Use this to keep track of my film collection. Find this very easy to use.

Dissapointed while other apps move ahead

This app does not do hyperlinks and that's what I need for a spreadsheet to do. HanDBase does it but the app is so hard to use that I gave up.

Other spreadsheets are more robust, I'm using MobileFiles Pro as it opens and edits excell2003 and 2007 files, is easy to move files back and fourth to desktop mac mini much like air sharing.

If they developed hyperlinks this could be a useful app but right now it strips it from the spreadsheet file.

Bento solution

CSV adequately answers my requirement for a database solution on the iPod Touch for data held in 'Bento' on my Powerbook.

Very good and fast

Application designed to carry your inventory with you and quickly access it and does exactly that and does it well and fast. Would be nice to have a few more features but worth the money as it is.

Hits the target

This is an excellent tool for managing lists. The cache feature ensures your data is always in your hand and easily updated from the web site of your choice. The Select & Arrange feature (gorgeous) allows you to swap data columns to optimise your view. The search tool is very good and also displays how many records have been selected. This App is fast, slick, and well thought out. Without doubt some new features will be added in the future, but for moment it fairly and squarely hits the target.

Excellent update to an already stellar app

Thanks for continuing to push the bar.

Very close to five stars

A super little app for presenting spreadsheet type data. A couple minor tweaks like: text wrap for long data fields; and individual file customizations [currently global] would make this a steal for $1.99. It's worth $1.99 now, but with just a little more tweaking it would be a super bargain. It does require an http server, but that is not a big deal. Most ISP's provide a small amount of web server space for free. It's also very simple to turn on IIS and create your own at home if you have wireless.

Excellent Response

I had problems with Unicode files and the developer responded in 11 minutes. 5 stars for support. 4 stars for the software. GUI isn't polished yet, but for $1.99, I have no right to complain. A hint to those of you trying to import multibyte files like Japanese. Use UTF-8, but beware of Notepad in Windows- it prepends a BOM which wreaks havoc on CSV Touch's parser. Also, test your file pulldown in Safari to ensure your file is accessible.

Excellent app - just what I was looking for to access my Palm & Windows databases.

Of course, there are always things you would like to see added. For example, * provide (or document for the less knowledgeable) a way to copy CSV files directly from my PC without using a FTP server. * In LINKS, touching a phone number asks me for a confirmation before dialing, but touching an email address does not. This results in switching to the Mail app, and if I touched the address by mistake I have to cancel out of Mail and then re-launch CVS Touch. Adding a confirmation before emailing would be helpful. * Will there ever be a way to modify or add to an existing CSV file? More work, I know, but would be useful. (Of course, this would require a way to save the modified file back on the PC or server.) Thanks for this great app.
