Why doesn’t it work anymore?
This tuner used to be amazing. In the last few iOS updates it’s become VERY fussy. Even if someone is speaking in the room and the mic is directly in front of the sound hole it doesn’t want to pick up. It freezes up too. Used to be amazing. Now it’s nearly useless, even in a quiet room.

Seems to only work when it wants to. There are a lot better apps that are free. FYI - I tried it on my iPhone and iPad - No difference.

this app is a great app, however, it glitches whenever I use it. It freezes and does not show the note that you are playing.

Amazing !
My teacher uses this for tuning his Violin and i really enjoy this app. Really accurate and useful to help with tuning (i am a beginner when talking about tuning) and really like this App. Worth the money!!

Needs Updates
I’ve had this app on my phone for years, multiple generations of iPhones.
It used to be great, super handy for practice or any sort of musical question. Sadly, for the past couple years it has started to freeze constantly. It’s like it can’t handle too much noise, just a few things then it freezes and I have to restart the app to get it to work.
Seems like a relatively easy fix, no sign of improvement thus far. Obviously an app will never be as good as a physical tuner, but this was at least a good option at one point in time.

Pretty great but one suggestion
This app is pretty excellent but there’s one suggestion I’d like to make: with the ability to make custom temperaments it would be nice to choose the number of notes because sometimes you want to have more or less notes

My harp teacher took a look at it and confirmed it is in no way user friendly. It’s only 5$ but 5$ It’s 5$ wasted unfortunately

I had been using a free tuner app. Ads were super annoying and it seemed like it was very vague and would need to be resting against sound hole. Was hesitant to pay (yeah I know 6 bucks) for an app.
This one is super sensitive, very precise and I don't need to put on my glasses to read it. Money well spent.
