Almost Everything You Could Want

All standard gaming dice types are given full 3D counterparts, from a coin shaped d2 up through the d12 and d20. Selecting dice to roll is as simple as typing in "2d10+1d6" and hitting "Roll", and watch as three dice hit the table. Rerolling only select dice is easy, as you can select which dice to hold in place while you reroll the rest. It even takes tilt data and changes your angle of view of the dice, so that you can actually look at the table from different angles and see different sides of the dice. The only thing I've found that it is missing is the ability to automatically drop dice from a roll (such as 4d6 drop lowest). Other than that, it does everything. Even non-standard dice, like d30 and d100 are supported. The 3D image is that of a d20 with ? on each face, but it does tell you what the roll was. d7, d13, d92, whatever you could want, this can roll. Ability to customize table and dice colors just add to the feel. Easily the best dice roller out there for tabletop gaming needs.

Reroll dice in history,please!

Used this last night when helping hubby test some NPCs. Overall it was very nice, but there's a feature that would make this 4-star app a 5. This was a combat scene, so there were initiative, combat, defense, damage, etc rolls all happening in quick succession. It quickly became cumbersome to retype the same combos over and over. As it already keeps a history, why not add a feature where one could tap on a previous set of dice in the list and have them rerolled? That would really make my dicebag obsolete...

Good app - very flexible for dice selection (allows unusual numbers of sides, eg D7) and can both count how many of each number are rolled as well as the sum (and part sums).

Update (after playing around a bit):
You can also move dice around after rolling them, and lock some dice and reroll others. This is a *very* well thought out app.

Its good...but

Would be great if you could assign different colours to a dice set. Great for GMs if they have multiple NPCs and want to roll for them on same panel. 5D20's with different colours that you can assign to each NPC. That would make this app a 5 for me then.

Very good!

One of the best dice rolling apps on the iphone.. Very good and very flexible.

I would maybe have liked to have seen the 2 sided dice have an option for heads or tails instead. And possibly the option for some warhammer or D&D stlyed dice

Other then that this app is great.. ^.^

Just what I needed

A great app for when you don't have those real dice, you really need. Thanks.

Great program!

Slightly complicated to work out some of the setup, but it is very pretty. Only lacking one star because you can't give 1/2 stars! The last one would come with some better directions, and even then I may fix the review with some more practice.
Edit: fun program, though not terribly intuitive. I get a lot of "running out of memory" messages, odd in a iPod only 1/2 full, and I don't have that many programs on here.
The biggest change I would like is to see a list that allows you to see what dice sets you have set up to roll; maybe something off to the side or bottom that rolls you prebuilt sets?
It is a cool program though, and is a lot cooler than the other apps I've played with. Easily worth a buck.

Great!

Amazing! Best dice rolling app. out there. Couple suggestions/requests; need %dice which should be two dice, a ten-sided and a dice that is 0, 10, 20, ... Through 90. Also maybe using stored photos as backrounds.
Finally, it has trouble sometimes moving multiple dice around, and whenever you move a dice it locks it. Should be to lock is a tap and just moving it around doesn't.
Thanx for the great app!

Excellent little program

I've been looking for something like this for ages and it fulfils most of my requirements. You can change the tables and keep separate sets of dice and the effects when you tilt the screen are actually useful when using d4! What I would like to see in future versions is the ability to edit formulas and save them so we don't constantly have to re-enter them. Also, I would like to see a greater selection of dice colours. One last minor quibble is that the dice don't seem to really roll -- they shake and then thud down very quickly, thereby not really behaving like real dice!

Almost perfect

Would like to see the option of a user-defined dN die, that actually models itself and N is the number of faces, instead of just applying question marks to a d20. Apart from that, the only thing left to make this even more fun would be the option of a letter die - 26-sided. I'd love that.
