(Mostly) Working on Yosemite

After a bit of tinkering, this works well. The available controls are a bit basic - it would be good to have some different shapes for buttons, and being able to edit common properties of multiple selected shapes would save a lot of time when creating a page. I can't get the TouchOSC Bridge to do anything on my MacBook Pro, but fortunately the CoreAudio interface works, even though you have to connect every time you want to use it. Not a fault of this app though.

I'm using this for controlling Hauptwerk and it does the job well. In summary, it's still a bit raw in places, but has great potential. Worth paying for.

No audiobus and no inter app audio

I don't use the computer to make music so ween I bought this I thought it would work with inter app audio or audio bus this is a waste of money if you don't use the computer. I'd like my money back since I can't use the program

Set up is impossible

Like another user, I have spent hours trying to get things happening on a PC with Abelton Live. And I'm not a complete novice. There should be some moneyback option if you just can't make it go!

Best iOS midi controller to date.

You can use this with anything. The possibilities are almost endless. You can design your own midi controller lay outs to work with any DAW or VST available.

Works pretty well

the app itself works great, but the layout editor I found pretty clumsy. Some feedback:

autoassigning channels/numbers to different sliders in the editor so they don't conflict by default would be useful

snapping to grid would be handy as well in the editor - it's surprisingly hard to get things lined up nicely

being able to edit the position/dimensions of all selected objects simultaneously from the editor side-pane would be handy (like, typing a width into the width box changing the width of all selected objects, man that would rule).

If you have a twitter account, use it - I had initially tweeted the above feedback to the account, before realising it was dormant.

One other bug I've noticed - for exclusive checkbox grids, sending controller signals back to TouchOSC to set their state confuses it about which one it has to uncheck, and multiple things end up getting checked, incorrectly.

Anyway, keep up the good work : )

Have also used it to make actual music, in quite detailed ways, quite happy

Support

I tried to contact support for this app by several emails and Facebook with no luck, no response from customer services with TouchOSC and live 9 problem. For that reason i could recommend that no one purchase this app for the lack of support.

iPhone 5 Support plox!

I love this app, but having that extra screen space on my iPhone 5 is crucial. I'd like to see it updated for the iPhone 5 screen soon!

Awesome, very versatile

I've not long had this app, but after some tweaking, I've got it to work with Fl studio, Traktor and GarageBand.

It's extremely versatile, I've created custom layouts for Fl studio, to cover keyboards, drums, mixer and effects, however it did take some time to map each control and is a bit tedious so be aware. Now that it works how I want it to, it's awesome.

One thing that would put the cherry on top for me, is if the app had an ability to send MMC commands, so I can get all the transport controls working in Fl studio, but other than that, fantastic app

Doesn't work with windows

Should have a trial app to test for functionality what a waste of my 5 bucks.

Not quite perfect yet but it's getting there

Before I explain anything, I'm rocking some not so expensive equipment here it is pc with ableton live, novation launchpad, akai LPD 8 and this app on the ipad2. First off, yes it won't work off the bat. As I found out, if your as new to the works as I am, err was, you'll be bald before you get it working. Yes I said it, bald. Either through frustrating attempts or just the sheer knowledge you have to learn to get it set up, or maybe not. To be honest. It took me three days and several web pages later to figure it out. If your new to all this then you'll have the same problem. That said and done, with the equipment listed above, I managed to get them all working. THIS APP ROCKS. My pos little studio ( to some not me ) got way sweeter when I saw all that this app can do. I don't rely too much on the launch clips on the first page but I use the mixer board and the blah blah blah. All in all, hated it at first but since it's working 100%. Almost too cheap for what it can do. It gets five stars if you noticed, because past all the frustrations to get it working, is worth it in the end and it's weight in gold.
