Fantastic App for Small Business!
Works well; easy to use; many useful options
It quickly and easily allows you to keep a thorough record of your expenses for different occasions. You can organize and sort elements in a variety of ways, then it also lets you forward a record onward via email. I wish other products would deliver their touted functionalities as well as this one does.
Great App!! Wish reports were easier to setup
The only minor negative.. I wish the reports were easier to set up but it’s probably just a personal preference.
In conclusion.. I’ve downloaded and tried at least ten different expense tracking apps. XpenseTracker is by far the best app for personal and business expense tracking. It will also track mileage if you need that type of tracking/documentation.

Excellent app, “Always Tracking” a real problem.
What really bothers me is that for tracking, they require you to set the tracking options to “Always tracking”. I don’t see how this needs to happen for the app to track my drives. It’s honestly a privacy concern because the thing is tracking 24/7. I don’t mind opening the app and having it track during use. An app like Maps can track me under that setting, so why can’t XpenseTracker do this?
Furthermore, a quick search on their website shows that their privacy policy mentions nothing about location information. Even more, I pay for the tracking capabilities. This should be clearly stated.
I’m keeping the App because it handles my needs well, but it’s tracking setting is an inconvenience, and even more, a privacy concern for me. Fix that and I’ll gladly up the stars to 5. But I feel that if people are going to pay for the App with the anticipation of using it for tracking mileage, they should see a review about the tracking and understand how it works.

I am glad to hear you really enjoy the app and that it handles your needs well. In my opinion to rate it 2 stars is rather harsh but that is something you certainly can choose to do. I so much would rather you have contacted me directly regarding this as the issue you raise is a complex one, that is, the requirement to allow our app to access your location "Always." In fact, I urge you for further explanation to email me directly by choosing the "Email the Author" link within the app. Your review actually in my opinion does not do what you intended it but I will try to explain as much as anyone can in a review response. The absolute fact is that by giving permission to an app to use your location "Always" does NOT mean it uses your location always. Our app actually has a way to turn off and on AutoTrack at will. But the beauty of the feature is that if leave it on it will monitor your movement . The app actually has several different states of tracking. When not driving the app is using a very low preciseness of location which is only used to determine if you have moved in a significant way. In fact this preciseness is on the order of a mile. With regards to privacy, our app ABSOLUTELY does not store your location to our server or for that matter any information. This is actually a big positive seen by many of our customers as your location information NEVER leaves the app. You have a good point that our privacy policy should state this. Our app keeps everything on your device and only stores your starting and stopping location in an entry on the device you can either "approve" or delete. Your privacy is never compromised! We use routines provide by Apple within the phone to convert your starting location and ending location to a physical address. So to reiterate, just because you have chosen "Always" does not mean the app uses your location Always. If you want it to use your location only when driving and not enjoy the fully automatic feature, you can go into the app, tap the Title of the Log View screen (or the Entry List screen) to turn it off. THEN, the next time you go driving simply launch the app and the feature will be switched on. When you arrive turn off the feature. But in my opinion this is more work than is necessary and you are not gaining anything by doing so. So with regards to Fixing things, there really is nothing to fix. If you still feel strongly about this send us an email and I will further explain.
