Best ever bible app
Concordance and cross referencing so easy to use with reading plan making daily study a doddle whilst reading Old Testament once and New Testament twice each year.
Great but not on iPad Pro 12.9
I love this app - it has everything I want, not least the ability to work in split screen so that I can take notes while Iโm reading. The shame is that on my iPad Pro, the menus donโt render properly: all of the buttons on the menu screen overlap at the top, so that when I enter a menu screen, I canโt use it properly, or even exit the menu. I really hope it can be fixed soon because this app is exactly what Iโve been looking for for a while.
Thanks for all the work youโve done to make an otherwise awesome product.

Bible App Review
Not knocking any other app, but there are very few that are just basic! I have two bible apps one that has all the gadgets and gizmos, and another(current). I like this app because it's straight to the point it lets you put some notes in, highlight, Jesus words in red, and pick any version you want. Sometimes basic is good; easy to understand, not very confusing for the non-tech users(or learning). This does a good job with that because it's updated regularly, and doesn't have ideas to changes every update.

Fastest and simplest app for reading the Bible
Very quick, pulls up and navigates instantly. Easy to navigate, tons of customization options (I recommend Baskerville font), and for just a couple bucks tons of notes and commentaries. Has the online ESV and several other translations offline. Just discovered the very nice notes system which sorts notes by chapter: very quick and easy way to take notes. Simple and lightweight, with no silly "social" features beyond basic sharing. Lightweight and looks great.
Recent updates have indeed changed many things, and the developer (Paul) has worked his tail off to make a great looking app that is also easy to navigate. I truly believe he has done this with the most recent update, and the app continues to improve regularly. He updates it very often.

Extremely good app
Simple and useful, a good study tool
The Best!
I love this app. It's brilliantly organised and extremely well managed. The updates are always an improvement and the wide range of translations on offer is superb. In particular, I love being able to add my sermon notes to the passage being studied. Can't recommend it highly enough!
About these updates...
Thanks for the iPad update! Really helped! My favorite Bible App again, by far!
Previous rating: I love this app, but ever since I updated it on my iPad. It keeps pausing and stays stuck when I try to change the appearance, even froze my iPad. And the keys for menu options do not work at all anymore. Please fix this because I don't want to find another Bible app.

Fine Bible App
I use this app daily, it is straightforward and has everything I need from reading plans to searches to multiple translations. I like how it will automatically scroll, so you don't have to be constantly scrolling. There also are some study helps you can buy, but I haven't bought those.
A note on the Chronological reading plan though: it's not perfect. The entry for October 11 says you should read Matthew 8 and Luke 7, however you have already read Matthew 8. I looked and couldn't find Matthew 9, so I suppose that Matt. 9 was accidentally replaced with Matt. 8.
And Mark 6 is missing. I think it's supposed to be on October 11 with Matthew 14 and Luke 9.

Most customizable bible app on iOS
This app is superb. It is by far the most customizable bible app on the App Store when it comes to formatting. Paragraph kjv? Check. Precise margin adjustments? Check. Fonts, font sizes, margins, line spacing, indentation or not, HIDE VERSE NUMBERS for readability!, customizable colors, theme saving, highlights , bookmarks, customizable interface, and more.
It loads fast and has additional study tools available for purchase in app as well. You can view a reasonable set of translations and split the view to have up to four bibles side by side. The kjv can be used offline, but others may require the internet.
Has a great search function that works well. iCloud backup of notes, highlights, etc. Overall, it is my favorite bible app by far on iOS. The developer is very good with communication and support as well.
My only desire would be a "slightly" more advanced reading plan. It is simple and works well, but being able to pick a start date would be ideal (I don't always start a plan on January 1), and other apps have far more options. However, for what I use the app for, mainly a very readable and clean and book-like bible experience, the app absolutely excels. I can use other apps for a reading plan (such as ReadingPlan, which can launch this app for readings and is almost the equivalent awesomeness for a reading plan app).
Highly recommend this app. For actually reading the Bible, there is no better kjv app. Period.
