Difficult to use
I find the new update difficult to use and lacking features. For example, I can't find anywhere to change the font size or turn off the auto scroll. Off to find a new bible app unfortunately.
Best bible application!
This app is awesome! I absolutely love that you can compare chosen bible verses with other bible versions that is available within the same app. Please add on NKJV and other English bible versions that are available out there.

Fantastic app. Absolutely deserving of 5 stars, even if the only gripe I have with it is the lack of NIV. I read the bible bilingually (Chinese and English) and this is the best and only app I'll use for a side-by-side view of two bibles. Having used this app for several years, there are a few improvements I would suggest: a faster way to navigate within a Book (e.g. jumping to a different chapter), the choice of language for the index of Books (when using bilingually), the use of abbreviations in the index, a persisting history that is not cleared when quitting the app, and last but not least, NIV!!!

I love this app
I use this fantastic tool everyday. I listen to a lot of commentaries on my iPhone and am constantly referring to the bible app to highlight, cross reference and swap between translations it is just so powerful and I my knowledge of the bible has increased just because of the convenience and excellent design of the app.
I am an IOS developer myself and I hold this app up not just because of it's intended function (reading the Word), but also because of it is a very well coded app.

really like the app. translation isnt so bad either...easy to use and understand...handy that it doesnt need internet connection cause it means i can open it anywhere without the hassle of finding a connection. use mine often with great delight because Gods Word never comes back void but fulfill the purpose for which He sent it out. cheers for the app. :):)

I found this when I first got an iPod touch and as soon as I got an iPad this is the first app that I feel I can't do without! Thanks for the great heart and effort put in to sharing God's Word electronically.

Best iPhone/iPad app for the Bible except for licensed versions
This is a brilliant Bible app. It is easy to use, is not cluttered, is not intrusive and does NOT require connection to the internet which is imperative if (unlike the USA) you don't have good or inexpensive internet or simply do not wish to always be connected or tracked. It also contains a date-synchronised Robert Roberts Bible Companion daily reading chart (called "traditional" but not acknowledged!). The only areas which could make it have a six star rating are availability of copyrighted or licensed versions (like ESV - not likely because of cost but many would be prepared to pay the price for these) and an audio (Bible reader) function for listening to daily readings whilst driving in the car. Love daily reading plans& dual translation view!
Easy to use, but took a while to work out that you tap the title to change translation. Love the daily reading plans. Might suggest options like NT or OT only plans. Love the ability to show 2 translations. Would like a setting where the secondary version could be different for OT & NT, so you could have Greek for NT and Hebrew for OT. Or Greek NT and a language you're learning for OT. Let me know if there's a way to do that. Great work Paul and God bless!

Crashing
Love the app, but since the latest update it shows the splash screen and then crashes. Running 4.3.
