The Best Chess APP Ever!!!!

Good chess app
I really like this chess app. It allows you to play against the computer with the computer set at different levels of strength. The strength of the computer can be set at an ELO level. I don’t think these ELO levels are precise. I think they are approximate to the strength of a human at that ELO level. However, I like having some idea of what the ELO level of my computer opponent is when I play against the computer.
When you choose to play a new game you can choose between just a new game, or a rated game. If you choose to play a rated game then the app will adjust the strength of your computer opponent based on whether you win or lose in the rated game.
The app allows you to save games that you complete so you can go back to them later and see what moves you made in previous games.
You can also export games in a PGN file. This works quite well.
I find that the computer opponent plays a lot like the way a real human opponent would. That is my subjective opinion of the moves that the app makes during games.Show lessPacific Panda

I’ve been using this app for quite a while. Can’t even remember when I initially bought it. Even though I frequently try out some of the newer/different apps, I keep coming back to this one as my main chess app.
I really like the clean, uncluttered look. Just an excellent rendered chess board (with many different style choices if desired) and an easy to use set of powerful features.
Also, superb customer support. I recently noticed a small bug and notified the developer via email. He had it fixed and an update on the app store the next day — which, considering the App store’s normal turnaround time is a superhuman effort.Show lessToolGuy

Quirk
Why does the three move rule apply to the challenger but not to the computer? I get 2 moves that are similar but when the advantage is reversed the computer goes on forever in an obvious stalemate.kissmek8

I think more people would write 5 star reviews but they are having too much fun playing to stop. I really had to force a pause to write this. This app is flawless as far as single player goes.
