The worst app because it asked me to rate it before I could use it. Basically typed three words and it did exactly what I needed. I could save it as plain text format and everything. I lost what I was typing because they triggered me to review their app before I could hit save. I know it was only three words but now I find this app useless because I was trying to find something where I could just type notes. I think the best and simplest way is to use google sheets or the contacts built into iPhone using the notes section.

  • Wasted an hour or so, then all text disappeared. Where to?

If I find it somewhere, and work out how this app works, I may modify this review, but currently frustrated by my first use of it. When opening there is just a blank page with a few text options, no idea how to open all I have spent an hour editing...... if it still exists? Or how I should have saved it, and to where. Wondering whether to invest even more time looking for my lost work, or just get on with doing it all again in ‘notes’.

  • Better than iOS TextEdit

Somehow I deleted my iOS TextEdit, and picked this up to replace it. Lucky stroke. A much more sophisticated editor, Still learning its feature set. What I have always wanted still doesn’t seem to exist… A draft writing tool so intuitive that you don’t have to learn how to mark, select, use it features. I still get frustrated on my iPad touching the screen and having various things happen unexpectedly. Creative writing is a very simple process requiring very few main tools. My favorite of all time is still WriteNow, Which I miss. I never went to the web, never use the help file, never needed to ask anyone else a question. It was so simple, so useful, and so easy to learn and use. The only thing a TextEditor is for is getting the writing on the pageAnd performing basic editing functions… Deleting, moving, pasting, formatting. A dozen icons on the bottom of the page well organized, each with a Fly over description Would be the best rating tool on the planet.

  • Recommendation

I came upon this app while looking for something available for my iPad that would allow me the flexibility to write letters and stories that I could both store and print from my device. This app hit the mark well. I highly recommend it!
  • Clean, simple and effective

I was looking for a simple, easy to use and straightforward text editor for my iPad and this app fits the bill to a tee. The other ‘writing’ apps are just useless mechanisms to take your money. This app is organized and has the export features you might want to sync with other apps or devices. A+
  • So far so good

    So far so good
  • Very Useful Word Processor

Delighted to have a free, text editing app. It is very simple to use, although finding the print function was difficult at first. (Go via a circular "info" sign). The "T" sign reveals a surprisingly wide range of size-adjustable fonts, just what I wanted. Once used to it, file saving, title editing and file retrieval are a doddle. This is an early review, but the app promises to be very useful and I'm looking forward to using and exploring it. Congrats to the app writers.
