It’s improved BUT a very big BUT
I do not like the face that we are forced to watch 30 seconds of video advertising prior to a piece of broadcasting. If you want to see it again, then the advert is repeated. I now do not bother.
Also, JAMES O’Brien is both rude and sarcastic. He likes e sound of his own voice and if heaven forbid someone disagrees with his opinion on anything, he is vile to that caller and cuts them off.
I never listen to him anymore and switch to Talk Radio for the three hours.

Brilliant. (full stop)
I know this app is for LBC, but it's by far the best and designed beautifully, I use to listen on TuneIn radio app, which I still use and is a really good app, but due to me listening to LBC so much this app I couldn't ask for more, connection and live streaming of radio is absolutely top class, hardly buffers even in internet connection weak areas, the instant live radio as soon as app is open I love and the last 7 days listening for shows missed if wonderful. Thanks for a tremendous app, hopefully if you update it, it won't mess it up.

Not what I thought. I've been looking for a way to listen to full episodes of LBC's Maajid Nawaz. As soon as you open the app the news begins and I was unable to turn it off, until I just had to close the app.
Admittedly I did not spend enough time exploring the app because I was in public and could not get the news to stop playing. Deleted.

Has potential but FULL of junk adverts
The feel of the application is quite good and intuitive to use. However you have to regular horrible adverts every time you want to use view one of their videos. Then as you use it you keep getting adverts. Adverts, adverts, adverts. Then when it eventually starts you get the radio coming on straight away. When you try to watch a video the radio plays over the top of it so you get two lots of sound. This has potential but it feels very lazily put together. And there feels like no motivation to improve it. I do not recommend this app. But I do strongly recommend James O'Brien.

Update is terrible- what have you done?
This update is absolutely terrible. You have taken away the sleep timer. As a consequence, I'll be listening to the BBC until the sleep timer is restored.
Down hill as no sleep
The two most important features of a radio are the ability to play you station and the ability to stop playing that station. Other features like choosing what to play, sounding nice, and of course ideally auto / timer based start (alarm) and stop (sleep).
Sadly the evil people at either lbc or who wrote this app have decided that either they don't want me to listen to lbc or they don't want me to sleep - WHERE HAS SLEEP MODE GONE. worse still they haven't even responded to emails / messages.
Now the other stuff like seeing news info schedule etc links to social media is nice but ONLY if the basics work. indeed i think the other stuff is improved.
BUT GIVE ME SLEEP MODE BACK....
your status info didn't even tell me that the upgrade would downgrade me by removing my sleep. IM TIRED - ive not slept in a week. if i dont sleep soon ill go mad and it will be YOUR FAULT

LBC, what is wrong with you? I haven't seen an update for this app in years despite all the new OSs that have been released. I've been listening to LBC for over 30 years and live in the US now and the only way to listen is online because this app crashes the minute your phone locks. Ridiculous! Please LBC, fix it!!!
