Picture Safe on first instance looks very slick, and it has some useful features, one in particular is very good; if an unauthorised person attempts to input the wrong PIN number three times, then a series of bland but 'safe' images are displayed.
Also you can tap the screen when viewing an image and a spreadsheet image is shown - nice touch.
But despite these features, I have to say I am rather dissapointed.
I have been using another app that does the same as this app which is called Pic Vault (PV), and although it lacks the smooth fluidity of swiping through the images and slide shows that Picture Safe does, it does allow me to do more.
Pic Vault (PV)allows you to move a single image or an entire folder to another folder or even back to the library. Whereas Personal Safe does not. You can only move one image at a time.
Also, Pic Vault (PV) allows you to create new folders whilst in a folder which is very useful.
Picture Safe claims that it has a unique feature, that of multiple image import from the library - wrong - Pic Vault (PV) has had this feature for months.
All the same, If Picture Safe were to include these missing features in a new update, plus the ability to sort images, as well as email an image, then it would then be worthy of five full marks. At present I can only award it three stars.
