  • A good app, well worth the price (1.99)

I like that this app directs people who seek Biblical wisdom through different categories. I like the dramatic backgrounds to the scriptures and the ability to share them with others.
I would like the opportunity to text scriptures instead of emailing them and I'd like to add categories and verses to my own device, without submitting them.
    Overall, a valuable app!

  • Great Idea!

As a pastor I think you have a great thing going here. I think it needs a little work though. For example I'm not sure how Leviticus 20:2 would help some one needing some encouragement about death.

Maybe make 2 categories here one concerning actual promises in regard to God being faithful to us in the midst of our struggles and others that encourage us to obedience in those areas.

How about giving us the option to add our own verses and categories and delete certain verses or categories. I think a little more customization would be nice. Maybe we could even choose the backgrounds for our verses.

Again, great idea! I'm this is one app that a lot of people will look to in times hardship in hopes of finding strength in Christ to overcome!

  • One of the best Bible apps out there

This app has pride of place on my iPhone! It gives you scripture from the Bible to suit all occasions, such as Loneliness when I'm feeling lonely, or Courage for when a meeting tomorrow is making me scared! Previous commenters mentioned being able to use the NIV, I'm pleased to see I can now choose the New International Version of the bible, as that is the one I am used to! My personal favorite feature is the fact I can share verses with my friends at the touch of a button. Well worth the $1.99

  • Solid app...a few updates needed

Great effort and really useful not only for myself but for friends and fam looking for timely wisdom from the word. Nice graphics and clean interface. Needs ability to edit/add/change versions (see below). Thanks!

At $1.99, here are a few updates that would make it 5 stars:

    1. Ability to add my own verses that I have found helpful.

    2. Ability to edit (or delete). Though the word of God is timeless, the King James Version sometimes is not. :) It would be nice to be able to either (1) edit current verses in the list or (2) delete and add to change versions. (I know you can't include other versions due to copyrights.)

    3. Ability to add categories myself. I know this app just appeared earlier this month, so I can see why the developer would want category suggestions coming to a central bin for a season, but that option should be user determined at some point...soon.

All in all, this really is a solid app, and some future updates will make it outstanding.

  • Bible advice wherever I go!

This app means I can carry the words of the Bible with me wherever I go: at work, at church, at home, on vacation. I like the way the verses are divided up into different topics so they are easy to find. The app makers have clearly put a lot of effort into making the app easy to use.
