What happened?
I loved Bible Promises on my old iPhone 5 and recently updated to an iPhone 8, only to find these cruddy ads! Any ads would be a huge distraction as I try to meditate on the Word, but a row of slot machines spread across the bottom of the page? Really? Popular verses don’t work
When I click on Popular Verses for the week, the app completely shuts down. Can you please look into this??betsy527
Awesome Quick-reference!
I go straight to this app almost every time I need to grab a verse to send someone for encouragement! You could fumble around w a Google search, but you know how that can be a rabbit hole, so this app is perfect for those occasions when a quick-reference is needed. There are numerous easy option for forwarding, but I always simply cut and paste the text into something I’m already writing or texting.Show lessNo bible? No breakfast!

The reason I buy apps is to get rid of in-app ads. I am not interested in TurboTax. And it hinders my prayer time because it sticks like a poke in the eye. I have since deleted this app from my device. It is a very good app apart from the ads. The ads take my e experience from a 5 to 1.preacher piper

I love the app because Gods word is so important to me. I can share with those in my contacts, but I had to give only three stars because I also love to share on social media and the word doesn’t come up on Facebook like it used to. The web site comes up but not the verse of the day. Getting Gods word out to the world is my goal. Would you please fix this problem and I will give the app a five star rating.Show less:-)Angela:-)
Mormon app
Goal of the app seems to be to get you involved with the Mormon cult. In app ads point you to their website.KeatingFamily
Disappointed
I did not even get a chance to really try this app out because as soon as I opened it... to find promises from the word of God... there were ads at the bottom with two seductive photos, one of a very young looking girl, and another of a close up photo of a half naked behind. I work in a ministry that focuses on sexual purity, and it is disgusting to me that I have to be bombarded with sexually explicit images; even in a "Christian" Bible App! Any app that would subject its users to explicit ads like this is OUT of my phone. The developers should be Ashamed of themselves for allowing this garbage to bombard the precious souls who come here looking for light and help. That's my two cents. I was very sad when it looked like you were not going to update it for iOS 11 in fact I was very grieved but praise GOD it is updated now. GOD always fulfill His Promises!!
Much love this app, but needs software iOS updating & upgrading for better improvement.
Suggestions:
•Add more sound Bible translations/versions to be added in the 'Translation' category: HCSB, NASB, AMP – versions.
•Create more variety of background pics on the daily Bible verses.
His Holy Word / daily scriptures r spiritual food nourishment 4 our hearts, minds, souls, & bodies — the temple of the Holy Spirit.
